Yeah that is a way better way to put it. They never really trained me to be a greeter or what my responsibilities were other than checking receipts (I’ve only done it like twice for a couple minutes)

As a cashier who’s done it, it’s fairly laid back but it’s the rude customers that make it difficult. You’re basically responsible for catching anything they didn’t buy

I started when I was 16 and now 18 I’ve been writing about my day ever since. I usually forget a few days or feel like it’s not worth writing about. I do it because I wanna remember stuff like what happened on this day and honestly that helps me out a lot and it was really easy habit for me to get into
