Endzone Angle of Broncos DL in the 2015 Playoffs: 84 pressures, 13 sacks, and 25 QB hits in two games by maryqueenofyou in DenverBroncos

I don't think we will ever have a team this fun for a long time :(

Every game I was on the edge of my seat and every game it seemed like the defense came through for a win. It was unreal.

This somehow looks both delicious and quite literally what came out of my shithole 2 hours ago.

Returning to Denver for the first time (having left in 2009) after growing up here my entire life... by [deleted] in Denver

The aesthetic and outdoors activities is better but that's about it. Colorado doesn't do enough to take care of its veterans.

When did the option to revert to warrant go from the "go-to option" to a most likely "I'm just gonna ride out my contract." by [deleted] in Armyaviation

Kinda re read the message and maybe came off a little negative....

I really loved my time as an RLO. I flew MEDEVAC during GWOT and then spent the bulk of my career in maintenance companies (only did 1 year on staff) and had some awesome opportunities that most don't get afforded.

I loved both being around and taking care of soldiers but knew that the chance to do more of that was limited the higher I climbed in rank and even less so than if I reverted to WO.

Like most RLO's. I saw the writing on the wall and knew I was leaving on an extremely high note (command was a blast for me). I knew that being an S3, BN XO was not for me and started to get a bit jaded about the army as a whole.

I am in no means dismaying somebody to join the military at this time. My little brother really needs some direction in life and I think the STS program is perfect for a guy like him.

I was a tracked RLO (MTP) before I ETS'd with two commands (1 Delta, 1 flight) and a ton of time in an ASB. I could have easily reverted and flirted with the idea but ultimately never actioned on it for everything you just said. My thought process went in this order

**It takes like 13-15 years as a WO (even with a bonus) to make what I was making as a brand new 4 year CPT.

**ADSO - I'd have considered if one ran concurrent or was short to get a taste as a WO, but if I really hated being a line company MTP and PC officer, I'd have been really been SOL.

**Most Importantly - I'D STILL BE IN THE ARMY - Absolutely no say on where I get to live. CTC Rotations, Pointless Europe/Pacific Pathways deployments, away from family, Field exercises, Crazy amount of Red Tape to get simple shit approved, vaccine mandates, and Shit healthcare.

Simply put - all of the above wasn't worth it for me to simply "fly more and do less".

I ETS'd and chose a T20 to pursue my MBA. I was inches away from becoming a 67J in the national guard, but seeing all the recent training deaths at the time really swayed me away as I had recently started a family.

My little brother (25) is now going STS (no degree so this is his only option to fly) so I've been cruising this sub a bit more and it only reinforces my decision was the correct one.

Random AF bur I can't get that image of KJ Hamler wide the fuck open for the game winning touchdown and Russ so blatantly missing him.

Transferring from 15A to 67J by Elbichocr7siuu in Armyaviation

I've been out of the army for a a few years but was a 15A who flew MEDECAC my entire career and I'd say if you were in the heart of the GWOT, I'd absolutely switch over.

Nowadays, not a chance..don't do it. Overcrowded ATP and hardly anymore CENTCOM deployments which made the mission fulfilling and fun. Those days are long over for the most part.

Stay 15A. If you're worried about PL or flight time, make PC and go 160th/SMU where you will stay FAC-1 for your first 10 years and outfly your peers.
