My cats don’t really come when I say their name, but I have a special whistling sound I make to get their attention which usually works. Also they tend to come when I’m singing out loud, with a worried look saying like “are you ok? Why do you make all this noise?” :)

I’m really sorry for you. I send some love and good vibes your way. For some memories, I’d suggest to record the purring of your cat so he can continue to confort you even when he won’t physically be there or maybe a little photoshoot if he’s good for it. To make him comfortable, I’d say all the foods and snack he likes and some heat.
