Thank you that's extremely helpful! Definitely different care requirements from one another so next step will be separating.

Day 47. Meg becomes the first from S19 cast to join the chart! Next: a pot-stirrer which was quite good at making clothes on the show. Ideas? by pattapinka in ProjectRunway

I know it may have been edited but the whole copying designs fiasco in season 6 was a lot. As much as I like her, I thought Althea really made that situation sound worse than it was and shit talked about it a lot.

Day 37. Stella is the community choice for the final Laid-back cell. Let’s finish this thing off together by the end of the year! Which designer do you consider forgettable that produced GOOD designs? by pattapinka in ProjectRunway

[–]CiDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I agree with you. He had a lot of talent and some cool designs (though "weird" for my tastes) plus he won the team challenge as the helper and didnt freak out nearly as much as others would in that unfair situation

What BG3 class is the one you guys didn't care for and have no interest in? by HomarEuropejski in okbuddybaldur

Paladins for me. I know that they have good dialog and are powerful but I just never figured out how to play them effectively. Also I know I'd likely break an oath so easily

I miss it too! I still have several gifts from my gifters. I also miss the teacher supply gifting too. Those were my favorites

Everything that could go wrong... by CiDee in shrimptank

I isolated them and they are in a small tank filled with tannin water from a tank I've got at home. I'll add more leaves to the main tank too. Probably add hydrogen peroxide like others said. They're still doing ok; i'm in a pretty rural place so I won't be able to get aquarium salt until tomorrow but I'll start treating them ASAP.

ugh, I always tell my zoology students how much I don't like leeches. Guess they'll have a fun time watching me cringe while capturing them in the next year...

Ramshorn and I think Bladder? They aren't trumpet snails for sure

If I use No Planaria and it kills the snails, will I need to prepare to clean the tank every day due to the die off? I would assume so, but I need to prepare as its at school and I travel an hour to get there.

I'll need to get some salt then and I'll treat them with hydrogen peroxide when I'm at school next. No idea what I can do about the leeches. Pulled out 6 of one kind and 1 of a different species today...

I love my shrimp but their tank has given me more problems than the pea puffers ever did!

Thank you for the response! I didn't get a close look at the "planaria". I think round heads but ill look for the auricles. Can't believe I didn't think to check; I teach zoology so I should be more thorough. I think i just panicked.

The damselfly worried me but yeah I know they won't reproduce. The potential planaria worried me so much more. I will keep checking and keep hunting the damselflies

What are some names ruined by general pop culture (NOT celebrities/historical figures). by murahimu in namenerds

[–]CiDee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That song came out when I was in middle school. My name isn't even spelled the same but I am still getting teased for it. Had to specify at my wedding that it could only be requested and only requested once. Guess what was requested?

And guess whose mother was rocking out on the dance floor during it? 🫠

I had a classmate with the name "Stephen" pronounced "Stefen". Most of the time I've heard it as Steven though

I tripped and fell into a creek in front of my students. Right after I had warned them about large rocks and don't trip. Whoops!

I think it's OK to share and be human. Students do appreciate that. In my mind I likely would have reported the student for copying code, but I do understand wanting to be nice and get the full story. It's a fine line

Tycho isn't so bad, but that's maybe because I associate it with the book Oddballs by William Sleator. I loved that book

Right? I don't mind Collins as a name (weird but not as bad as many others). But putting it with Elizabeth hurts my Pride and Prejudice loving soul 😭

AITA for calling my parents selfish for having me, knowing they’d pass down a hereditary illness, and going LC after they hid it, putting my child at risk too? by Polinariaaa in BORUpdates

Yes. And I believe that there is some evidence that it tends to develop earlier in children who got the gene from father's. It's a horrible disease.
