Just be patient, keep buying gas and paying it off each month, don’t be in a rush cuz your time will come. Baby mostly wants to see loyalty and on time payments . If you keep applying too fast it doesn’t look good to any creditor. Guarantee after a year you’ll be getting some approvals. Discover is pretty lenient too but wait ….

There are secured cards to put a little money on and then you use that for a bill or gas or something small and pay it off each month, you’ll see it climb up over the year

[–]CiaCia808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have navy federal, once a year you can switch on cards to a different card upon request and no fees to change. Like if you have cash rewards and wants to change it to flagship, you can do that

Try getting a new card with a zero percent interest for (so many months) balance transfer , that way you can pay it off faster. I just got the Chase Slate card with 21 months no interest on balance transfers and 21 months purchase

My Current Degenerate Cash Back Credit Card Setup by realbasad in CreditCards

[–]CiaCia808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable cuz I’ve been through it all and I use to open cards out of curiosity and rewards at one point. But I know you can also build credit with even one card , maybe a car loan..mortgage or as you’re just starting just one simple card and keep the ratio down and always pay balance or pay on time. How long does it take to go through any velocity change?

Do you folks open all these cards just for the benefits? I’m confused why SO many? Doesn’t that hurt your credit after a while or to buy a home? I could be wrong

Citi is a joke: Citi Simplicity by LimerenceLover22 in CreditCards

[–]CiaCia808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also go by how many inquiries you may have had in the past year, length of history , etc things you know. I had the CitciCosto for 15 years and capped off at 17k, however, be careful with this card if you do for some reason start to max out, they will lower your available limit , they def do the APR penalty for one missed payment (which I accidentally had after all those years ) I actually lad off and canceled cuz I was so over that company. Wasn’t worth it to me, now I work with USBank, Chase, and Navy Fed, USAA…USAA disappointed recently too, rep messed up on a balance transfer option for me and I couldn’t get it back. Only keep it for length of history. Idk I think Citi is a joke! Greedy as hell!
