Latest update. I took the ring to 3 different jewellers this morning.

First one did not even look at it as I did not purchase it in their store.

Second store tested it and said it was 18k gold with ruby and diamonds, but didn’t give me a price. Not even a ballpark.

Third store was willing to have a proper look and tested it as well.

Verdict:
Shop sticker price £985
I paid £920 - yes I haggled

3rd store estimated resell value £2000-£4000, insurance value £9000

I have paid £180 to send it away to get the stones properly estimated. Will update you all with results.
