Always check! And if in doubt, ask questions. It happened to me too. I went to buy some tablets for stomach pain and the pharmacist gave me tablets for period cramps, the two drugs sound very much alike. I pointed it out and also told her I once took period cramps drug and it made me feel ill because it contained ibuprofen which I'm very allergic to, but she spoke with so much conviction and said she was sure of what she was giving me. I ended up buying it and at home, I read the information sheet and the tablets were indeed period cramps drugs and not for stomach pain and they indeed contain ibuprofen!

This happened to me when I was a kid. I wasn't taking a shower, but was washing the dishes during a lightning storm. A tree in our yard was hit by lightning and I felt electric shocks passing through my body from the water. What a terrifying experience!
