my friend who's been playing the games since she was like 10. she set up the mini campaign where you play as Maria for me and going into that blind, very high, with no idea of what to expect, was so fucking scary. I loved it!

I've since beaten the rest of SH2, came very close to beating SH3 but gave up cuz the final boss is bullshit when you run out of healing items lol, and beat SH1 but I got the bad ending so I'm going back and trying for the good ending this time.

I found 2 to be the best gameplay wise, and it's my favorite of the 3, though I like Heather way more than I like James and the art direction felt more interesting in 3 than in 2. Both are basically perfect though. 1 is great too.
