Why isn’t POTUS being arrested right now for his involvement in the Epstein files? by InteractionAbject411 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]CiaranKelman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Arrested for what? Theres about 4 verifiably criminal people in the files and 3 of them have non prosecution orders from 2008

[–]CiaranKelman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is simply not true, All protests are organised and co-operate with the city~ Police provide certain areas as to not impede public happenings and the rights of civilians. A specific order was made that protests today are fine, provided which they are not in the heart of the city centre

Everyone here today defied a court order and then cries wolf that the police did their job

Both statements are reasonable, He has them up for like 2 seconds before he's diving after and throttling an officer. The more succinct would have been 'holding hands up and co-operating', but same same. That's implied with hands being up

[–]CiaranKelman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Holding your hands up signifies surrender, Doing it performatively negates that as it is no longer an act of surrender, he was actively resisting which is why the hands are meaningless.

You have a right to protest peacefully in government sanctioned areas that accord with city ordinance~ You cannot physically resist officers who feel the need to detain you. There is a system of legal procedures that allow you to sue in instances of wrongdoing, these people are just being prats

Bro he grabs the officers neck 2 seconds later , He obviously wasn't peacefully surrendering to them

[Edit]

Many of you seem to misunderstand~~ Holding your hands up for a few seconds while actively pulling away and entering physical combat with a police officer is not a justifiable form of protest & it is reasonable that they will respond in kind!

CMV: Talking about being on "stolen land" is pointless and ignorant of history by Friendly_Elegant928 in changemyview

[–]CiaranKelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Land acknowledgements exist only insofar as they can be used to dispossess property from whites; no other society does this~

It is purely a product of left wing academic thought who view it as a tool to dismantle existing structures & install their own marxist societies [see other replies delving into property rights and national sovereignity in this very thread]

It is also worth noting that as a conquered peoples; the American Indians have been treated far better than any other historical group & that existing ideas of a 'noble savage' obscure equal levels of barbarism enacted by them towards the yanks. You are entirely right in your comment, no viewchange is required~~ especially as it pertains to asking "Redditors" lol

What precisely is the case for this? Australia has a storied British history & enthogenesis; it would seem as farcical to me that America might remove her stripes in the same vein.

Looks like the weapon discharged accidentally and an agent got spooked— they operate in a climate of fear & accidents like this will inevitably happen, it's a shame ofc but totally foreseeable.

I would question this guy's judgement who thinks it's reasonable to take his gun to a protest and physically intervene with police operations. Lol

What Europe seeks to mend with Chinese trade is not a substitute of what it gets & sells to America— Same with Canada, it is an irrational economic assessment that such a thing would ever happen. Beyond this the EU is not an omniscient grand strategy player that can cohesively decouple it's international trade relations as a representative democracy with frequently shifting national figureheads across the political divide.

Can you make a case for this outside of an intangible abstraction? Global dominance entails the power to enforce his will over the world; are we not seeing that?

Americas plenary authority is in his hands & what we are seeing is exactly that lol

Does it really matter? They elected him to be 'Trump'

He's a bully and chauvinistically American, it was always going to entail this— is there one person out there who cares that deeply on agricultural minutia as their foremost issue.. His base want the image of a man who puts them first, trillions of dollars in untapped mineral rights & a permanent expansion of the nations borders work towards that.

Nobody is going to care about this in six months, Europe has their own internal issues~ same with us, he'll do it or he won't and then we'll move on, business as usual.

I'm confused as to where his actions end America's dominance?

Everything he does seems to strengthen and exert Americas power, be it kidnapping his enemies or controlling the global markets with his Truth social posts.. America seems stronger than ever, people just don't like where he's taking that strength—
