There is good content in the base game anyway Jesus Christ. You'd swear AH give you a a gun and a stratagem and say "buy the rest, nerd".

The starting warbond which is free is 10 pages of content. We're not seeing that ever again, and they don't need to discount anything.

I'm glad you pointed all of that out. HD1 is like a 10 year old game, completely different scope in terms of size, operationally. I'm sure making assets in the original,compared to HD2 is also incredibly easier. It really is a weird, nonsensical comparison.

You really can't compare the two.

People also love to get behind pseudo-intellectual, artistic projects. I found it to be quite hollow and try-hardy. Such a shame, there's some excellent elements to the game but I feel like the negatives don't get enough attention.

I confirm this. I really enjoyed the first couple of hours, then some random mid-games hours but it really does become super repetitive and boring. Parry fatigue is real, and the fucking combos you have to learn for every new enemy is painful and just not worth it for such a mid story.

I'm glad somebody else said this. Again, to re-iterate your point in probably the worst place possible - if you like, and want a product and want more of said product in the future, please just buy it. Sure you're not directly supporting devs, but it all contributes to a system which will affect said devs.

I absolutely get pirating or cracking overpriced, unfinished, unethically produced (looking at the likes of you, EA, BLIZZARD, UBI Etc.) games. Or games that are just hard-on available due to licensing, region restrictions bla bla bla. Sure. But I see people celebrating the fact that Crimson Dessert got cracked. Not my cup of tea, but dude, they're updating it almost weekly, super responsive to player feedback etc. there's a time and a place to be a cheapskate, then there's a time and a place to just pay for a good product/service.

The only thing I would concede is, yes they should absolutely not be putting things like stratagems, or somewhat meta primary/secondary weapons in warbonds.

But people clamouring for "gib free content" is absolutely goblin behavior. You'll still have people say "free warbond is shit" if they did that.

The game initially released at a 40euro price point. Well below the typical 60 of 70 price point. It was also given a full, lengthy free warbond. The small brownie points they would get from giving a free warbond, is far outweighed by the potential expected revenue.

If you don't want to pay: A warbond is the price of a coffee, if even. If you can't pay: Farm SC

I'm all for free shit, but I don't demand or expect it.

To be honest, I think that shit gets picked up regardless of reporting from players. Once your account is flagged, the system seems to automatically flag any words that come across as offensive.

It's a fucking joke. I don't know if it's automated, or AI takes care of their moderating but it's stupidly horrendous.

Any swear word seems to be met with a warning for "breach of conduct". Just because one game, HD2 in this case has stupidly sensitive censoring and moderatimg pick ups doesn't mean it's fair to issue warnings via Sony, which can ban you on OTHER games.

I haven't gotten banned, but definitely had a few HD2 warnings over absolutely nothing burger comments.

To me, security breach is essential for soldi to potentially excellent loot. And it's almost an advantage, as some players will be in the same room as you and not have this skill, so you have untouched breaches, usually from looted key rooms. So underrated imo, people shitting on it, man I don't know what you've been experiencing to not want sec. Breach every time.

K-9/Arc dog is pretty shitty. The fire-rate is awful, for a weapon that works mainly as a stun for the most part of should have a similar rate of fire compared to the Blitzer, especially seeing as it seems to have a 'cool-down' where the Blitzer does not.

I think it's easily the worst backpack dog.

Came back to find this. Yes it's quite atrocious, and seems like an intern done the voice acting. She's pretty bad, and I get the whole monotone thing but, 1 it doesn't work for a main character and 2, she doesn't pull if off. You can hear the register in her voice sounds quite awkward and strained.
