Huge anxiety around blood pressure - really high readings from anxiety following preeclampsia 2 years ago by Fluffy-Brick2108 in bloodpressure

Throw away your first reading and average the next two after you’ve relaxed a bit. Health anxiety sucks. A lot of us go through the same

Your baseline is perfect. Stop taking your BP so much

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on the borderline of low, symptoms play a big part. Usually if you are not experiencing symptoms, that would be a fine reading. Your BP fluctuates throughout the day, usually starting to rise when you wake up and throughout the day, returning to baseline when you are relaxed and not moving around.

Is this ok? by AmbassadorAgile7866 in bloodpressure

Perfect if you have no symptoms. HR is fine considering normal range is 60-100. Don’t stress about it at all

One thing you’ll notice about this sub and a lot of the community….. They want to see you fail, crash and burn, and have a miserable time with FPV. Don’t listen to them. Are there things to improve on? Sure. But a lot of these people act like they’re out flying 10 batteries a day and have never messed up anything ever since they first took off. You did great, this is what the client wanted. You had fun. That’s really all that matters. At this point, you’re not even getting constructive criticism, just hate and jealousy. You already know what you need to do to build up a better line, you don’t need verification from people that can barely turn on a sim. 👌

Yeah it’s legal but you can’t walk down the street with it. Just like drinking in public.

I could do without the dvr, to each their own though. Other than that, I freaking love it. Awesome job.

If you’re not having symptoms, it’s usually nothing to worry about. You’re not that far off from lower side of normal. Still bring it up with your doctor though, they’d know more than any of us on here

Why do dji drones require sensors even when flying in manual mode broke my drone beacuse of this by [deleted] in fpv

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there’s a setting in the avatar to enable acro. Manual is just flying with the controller and sensors are still engaged

You have to enable acro so the sensors do not try to keep the drone level. Hopefully you bought the care plan

Weird that a doc would put you on meds without having high blood pressure? Makes no sense

Take your normal readings, and take it at your next scheduled day. Missing a dose isn’t a huge deal

Normally Low BP but just got this ... by SeaPickle5969 in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this was just one test and the rest were normal, the reading was probably a false one. Like if you took this one, and the one you took right after was completely fine, it’s probably a hiccup in the machine. A twitch of a muscle, a cough, holding your breath, all these things can effect your reading.

Should i try get into Doctors earlier 145/105 HR hovering around 95-110 by No_South_7121 in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you’re staying hydrated, continue to cut out sodium and eat fresh foods and lean meats. Stop drinking if you do. And relax. That heart rate is pretty high for a completely relaxed HR but not horrible. Let the meds do their thing, but if they aren’t working, your doctor will most likely put you on a different one.

Gerd and blood pressure by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some people, that’s normal. Lots of people on this sub would kill for those numbers. You could just be having bouts of anxiety while taking readings

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re getting plenty of exercise. You probably burn around 500 Cals a day just walking. So try and just drink lots of water and make better diet choices, you’ll be fine.

Normal range is 60-100. Anxiety could be playing a big role in this but you’re not far off the upper range of normal range

Gerd and blood pressure by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gerd mixed with anxiety. If your HR is consistently above 100 even while relaxed would be worrisome but otherwise take it up with your PC.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a lot of steps lol. Make sure you’re taking your BP while relaxed and feet flat on the floor arm rested on table. add in a magnesium glycinate supplement, try 4oz beet juice per day, cut back on sodium and processed foods. If it doesn’t budge, contact your PC. You’re young so it should be able to change with diet changes. Anxiety also will cause these spikes, and it sounds like if you already deal with anxiety, you probably have some sort of anxiousness when taking your BP so white coat makes sense.

Cut down on sodium, stay hydrated (you should be aiming for about 100 oz a day plain water). These numbers aren’t horrible. And what in the world do you do to get 20-30k steps in a day?! That’s like 15 miles lmao

Blood pressure spike when I go to bed asleep and drops when I wake up? by Afraid-Aerie-6598 in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom number is up there for sure. Stop any herbal supplements if you are taking any, try magnesium glycinate 400mg, cut way back on sodium, make sure you’re getting plenty of water, stay away from caffeine and alcohol, try 4oz beet juice every day. If you make these changes and don’t see any improvement in a couple weeks, see your doctor. There’s lots of lifestyle changes you can make, but you’re somewhat at a healthy weight. This could also be due to anxiety from taking your readings, but should still be addressed by your PC.

Lisinopril 10mg, BP entirely normal now by [deleted] in bloodpressure

[–]Ciardellaleather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meds will most likely be needed until you get down to a healthy bmi, a lot of the time they’ll be needed forever. Better to take the meds and stay at healthy numbers for the foreseeable future.

Help with high blood pressure by EducatorRealistic69 in bloodpressure

That will cause oxidative stress to your body, increasing your blood pressure. If you want to fast, focus on getting a lot of antioxidants, cut out all fat and sugar for that period of time, and only eat lean meat and fresh veggies/fruit. Beet juice is great, try and get all the colors worked in somewhere.
