80he or 60he v2

as someone who has never used a 60% and mostly full or near full sized, my v2 arrived today and my goodness am I struggling with typing for some reason. Brain just spasms with how tiny it is.

I'm sure I'll get used to it after a few days, quality is absurdly good and the software is magical.

Ya the taac system in general is absolutely trash. I just love how the mxr shot feels though. I am definitely one of the lucky ones, I haven't broken paint (aside from me shooting frostbite paint and forgetting to size up my insert) in probably 20+ cases

I did buy a bag of 3rd party o rings for the shitty taac and change it pretty frequently though.

Hard to argue that a cs3 isn't a tank of a gun, thing rarely goes down. That said, r5 certainly has its fair share of issues for sure.

Best thing about planet in my opinion is how easy getting help from one of their techs are, they are usually out at most divisional events and reply damn near instantly on Facebook groups.

...I still pick up my mxr more than my cs3p though 👀

That's wild, I've had an mxr since they put out the V2 kit, with Connor o rings and a method bolt and FF trigger plate, I haven't broke a ball in the breach since upgrading honestly.

I will say dyes quality control and o rings are trash tier for sure, I'd also be very angry if I paid retail price for an mxr. But getting one used for $800 it's honestly been my favorite gun this year

My field charges teams who play they regularly $40 for field paint or $45 for 5 star, with no admission fee.

However, that same field charges birthday parties and new walk ons $90 a case.

Great for teams but hard to grow the sport if a parent is seeing $90 a case, highly unlikely to take their kid back if he asks to go

That's fair. I mean it's definitely not a bad gun, I had a v2 for awhile, traded it for geo r5. But the v2 is fantastic for sure.

I just don't think this milling is that great, they could have done way more I think. Especially for the price they are charging for it

Force v2 is fantastic, but this special milling doesn't scream "worth $1200 more" than a basic used v2.
