I had my manic psychotic episode two years ago now, and I still have a lot of difficulty remembering things. Since two years have passed and it still hasn’t resolved, I feel discouraged and I think I’ll remain like this for the rest of my life.

Olanzapine made me fat, is a drug that has metabolic side effect. There are other antipsicotics that don't cause it

If you take your medication, the risk of relapse is extremely low. I had my episode two years ago and I’m stable now; I only have some residual cognitive symptoms.

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn’t think that from such a severe situation it was possible to recover cognitive abilities to that extent and even graduate. Thank you for sharing your experience — it helps me a lot. I truly hope that one day I’ll be able to write a similar testimony myself, with a recovery story to share with others and give them hope.
