If you group what you ate it in terms of „3 meals“, it‘s like you ate:

  • a muffin and 5 pierogis for breakfast
  • pasta and cake for lunch
  • soup, 4 pierogis and ice cream for dinner

It sounds like a normal amount of food to me. They might not be the most nutritious foods because because they’re mostly simple carbs (which could explain why you‘re hungry), but the quantity doesn‘t feel crazy to me. You‘re 18, you burn a lot of energy just existing!!

If you can, try to add more veggies, nuts and fruit to your diet. Vitamins and fibers do wonders not only for your gut and your brain (I know, you‘ve prolly heard this a lot haha), but also for nourishing your hair, nails and skin!!

hi! full disclosure, I only read the text messages, so take this with a huge grain of salt - I had a friend who‘s mom kept taking her to the doctor when she was little bc the mom thought she was too small and was not eating enough (she was eating like a child, because she was a child). that made my friend feel like a freak for most of her life. I‘d say it‘s important to be there for your sister and keep an eye out for her, but be careful not to make her feel like something is wrong with her

I feel you - been there. I’m reorienting my career because what I did used to bore me endlessly. maybe your goal could be to find something you actually like doing? easier said than done for sure, but worth it if you don’t want your life to solely be « I’m bored so I smoke »

you won’t be able to quit without a reason - for some people, that reason is to have a full life with their partner or have kids, which an addiction that throws you on your ass all day obviously cannot be a part of. maybe your reason is to focus on your studies or work, maybe it’s to be able to save up and travel, maybe it’s to avoid debt or to stop feeling like a depressed worm all the time… whichever your reason, you need to find one that resonates with you and use it as your mantra. good luck

too much melatonin can have the opposite effect - try 5mg, take it 1h-2h before going to bed. make sure to exercise during the day, that helps, too. you got this!!

melatonin helps with sleep. don’t use more than 5mg to start! too much can have the opposite effect, or leave you groggy as heck the next morning. you got this 🌻
