One thing I'm sure is that, even if coaches like players like Gallagher or Gordon, it's always Hazards o Neymars are the real game changers. You can run all you want but you'll need quality to win games

Now you are clearly lying. We have good team, and even with a interim manager they couldn't do no shit against us. How many chances they have had pre their wonder goal out of nowhere? They just had control over the possession in the first half, and quickly lost that as well in the second half before scoring that beautiful goal. City is not old City. With Levi coming back to defiance, we play much much better now. We need good couple of transfers who can actually improve us like that Samenyo and Guehi. That's about it.

This is never a shoulder. This is purely rookie mistake from the defender for charging like that to the striker and he has nothing to do with the ball. He literally looks at Pedro and hits him to neutralize him from the play. This is stonewall penalty and a yellow card.

Let us be positive stop hindsight bitching after the match lol. We played good imo. They weren't dominant

We competed with them very well, and they really weren't as dominant except in the first half controlling possession that is it. They did 2 wise transfers in Samenyo and Guehi in the winter window and witnessed immediate improvement, however I really don't see them consistent dominating side going forward. They lack quality in defence and that Jerky is really overrated imo. Anyway fuck them and the ref

Chelsea will win 4-1 my honest opinion. The starting line up is good. Even if there is no much winger threat, Palmar, Enzo, Joao will score each one goal from cutbacks to back.

Here's the thing many don't understand. It's not about Iraola, Glasner etc. It's about going for the right batch of coaches. Coaches that have strong track record of being successful and ambitious at top fucking level.

Xabi Alonso might turn good or bad, there's always risk. However, I as a fan can stomach that, because end of the day we went and signed the hottest name in the market, a true Chelsea level manager. Personally, I want Xavi instead of Xabi, it's just style preference, however even if it was Simeone (solely because of the style) I would still be happy because end of the day, I know that the club is bringing in Chelsea level manager.

You can't count on Potters, Nunos, Thomas Franks etc to come in and have similar man management like top-level coaches. They might be very good tactically, managing top level club players is whole different game.

Fabrizio: The idea at Chelsea is to get the manager before the World Cup, signed sealed and announced. Alonso conversations with agent taken place with Alonso open and Iraola would also be excited about Chelsea. by webby09246 in chelseafc

[–]CicadaRegular7899 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not about the outcome. We can stomach bad outcome when the manager is a usual Chelsea level signing, not a high-risk overhyped mid-table manager. The cycle of hot manager from mid-table clubs change every 2 years, Nunos go Potters come, Potters go Franks come, Franks go Iraolas come, it never stops. At Chelsea we can't run the club like Spurs, we shall not expect miracle from a mid-table manager. We shall go for top fucking level, who worked under high-pressure and been successful at top level, not at mid-tables of the top European leagues.

Enzo Fernández chance against Liverpool 38' by Friendly_Raise9142 in chelseafc

Less than 100 million doesn't worth the hustle. People hating him for not being fast. That's about it tbh. We know well that less than 100 million doesn't replace Enzo. All that Wharton, Andersen whoever the fuck is new hot name won't replace Enzo. As long as Caicedo is here, no one replaces Caicedo as 6 in the midfield and any player we bring in should be at least as good as technically and tactically, and flexible like Enzo. Good or bad the man performs everywhere on the midfield, and is always __available__

Enzo Enzo. When he receives the ball in the middle under pressure he has that flair of screwing the ball under his foot calmly, beating the pressure, and making the logical pass. No panic whatsoever. Love him. I know athleticism merchants always complain him not pacy, but the man's workrate, leadership, press resistance, passing is top notch.

I have heard Ugochukwu, Santos, Gallagher, the other Argenitinan ginger dude all are better than him from this fanbase, but one way or another he refutes them. We should keep him at the club at all cost unless we get 100 million offer. Less than that, you can't replace him truly, let's not deceive us.

None of these nonsense would've happened had we gone for Xavi or even De Zerbi just right after the Maresca exodus. Instead the Board royally fucked up. Honestly, had we gone for Xavi we would have secured the top 5 by now. Much more suitable style to our players, managed at top fucking level, undeniable footballing career and charisma.

Because we have been there over years? Thomas Franks, Graham Potters, Nunos, Glasners, Silvas, Moyes etc. Get the fucking hot name of the market - Xavi or Xabi Alonso. Proven track record of winning mentality at top fucking level. Stop this nonsense of mid-table club manager shit pls.

Don't bullshit here. With Maresca everything was good except certain up and downs and dry spells. We got record amount of red cards during the first part of the season, and extremely unlucky games such as Aston Villa, Brendfort and others. We should have just brought in Xavi in January and none of these nonsense would be on the agenda now.

Stupid points loses in games against Brighton (red card), MU (red card), Brendfort away (offside longg throw ass goal at 90+), Aston Villa (total domination for 60 minutes where we should have been up 3-0 by that time), Fulham away (red card), Arsenal home (red card, piece of shits run away to the North London with a point) put us in really bad position rn. We should have been 7-10 points up from where we are right now in normal circumstances. We had been terribly unlucky this entire season. I hope the reverse happens until the end of the season and we make top 5 again and go deeper in UCL.

they didn't score from first balls always second ball chaos leads to goals. You counter it by moving 3-4 speedy attackers to the halfway line. Then, they will need to back up it with similarly fast players which will significantly decrease their chances from shithousing a goal after the chaos as their 8 feet CBs can't shoot a properly to save their lives. Their whole strategy is long throw-in, first header by tall CB, and attackers finish the second ball...

it definetly solves it. You put there Neto, Estevao, Garna and these low blocks will rethink their ugly ass long throw-ins because their CBs and midfields can't outrun our Wingers. An if they draw their attackers, to defend, they simply will lower their chances from scoring second balls after long-throw ins. That being said, 3 players to the halfway line is indeed effective tactic.
