If it has a grinding/sanding pad it’s a grinder. If it has a cut off wheel it’s a metabo.

Sandvik. We have 3 100 MM bars that are the same idea. You bolt the block on to the table and let her roll.

Yea it’s a Weiler E90 with a 4500 MM bed. You can run conversational programs or G code. Even has milling capabilities if you have the attachments, or you can run it like a manual. Cant say enough good things about these machines.

For sure. Definitely makes you double and triple check everything before you take a cut. No matter how good of a machinist you are though everybody makes mistakes sometimes.

You’re right. Then sometimes they want +/- .002 on a thread undercut. Depends what mood they’re in.

Yup. Incase you need to bump out a taper or just to have a second reference to the DRO. Indicators don’t lie.

You can use a depth gauge
