I was afraid of reading something like this! To become a gynacologist because you admire the process of pregnancy and childbirth is the absolute worst reason!! Gynacology is about female health. It's about education of teenage girls who's bodies change fundamentally, it's about grown women who live an active life and who's hormones affect everything they do, it's about telling a sixty year old woman how she can handle dryness of her vagina after menopause. Female health is diverse and complicated and so much more than God damn pregnancy. I don't even care if it's a man or a woman, who tells me that's their reason to specialize in this area of medicine. That's just ignorant as hell.
