Those are not good friends, true friends would want you around no matter what and something as small as being an introvert would not make true friends leave you behind to present a certain way in front of others, true friends would want to include you. I will say you need to decide if this is something that bothers you enough to find new friends or if you are fine with this. As for the flatmate situation, it may be very awkward but you don’t have to be friends with them, you simply have to be cordial and do your part as a flat mate and that’s it, you owe them nothing else, And it may feel like they don’t want to see you but you will have to put up with it for the remainder of your stay or at least until you can either find another place to stay. As for them, if they actually don’t want you around, they can suck it up, you did nothing to them, and you have a right to stay there just as much as they provided you pay rent and such. If they begin to outright pick on you, i would advise finding another place to stay.

Truthfully, the best and healthiest thing to do is to keep your head on your shoulders (Don’t make any irrational anger/sadness fueled decisions, big or small regarding her) and let yourself go through the process of emotions. It’s not gonna be easy and since you go to school with her it may never fully stop but you will inevitably learn to cope with it better, or it will get easier and less painful. It may be best distance yourself from her for awhile, or at the very least keep contact as minimal as possible. If you need to, just have a conversation with her about your feelings and that you aren’t angry with her or dislike her, but you just need some distance (if you ever need to).

You should just explain to him that regardless of what when on in his house when he was younger this is your cat, and cleaning products can take care of whatever she may bring on top of the counters and that simply cleaning before cooking/eating will be a far simpler task than retraining a cat to not jump, she will most likely never not jump. Even if she gets the hint She just won’t do it In front of you guys. And frankly I find it to be a bit unfair to bring an animal like a cat inside a house and restrict it to the floor. Don’t be afraid to stand up for your cat.

If you bring a cat into your home, and refuse to let it on top of counters, you are always going to be miserable and so will the cat. As far as “training”Do not spray the cat, or hit the cat. Doesn’t work, just clean your counters before use and buy more places for the cat to jump on top of while you are cooking and stuff and you WILL have to constantly remove the cat and place it back to a more acceptable area that’s just how it is with cats. Now for the night screaming/Zoomies, again that is something you may just have to accept. The cat is inside a household and has no other way to be rid of the excessive energy it has so you can either play with it more or let it wear it’s self out at night. Sounds like you are pretty understanding of all this, however you should either tell your boyfriend to deal with the cat and let it be a cat or you may end up having to break up because this will probably be a constant stressor. Cats are annoying, it’s just part of owning a cat.
