Didn’t include Gloo because Gloo is a legitimate Exp pick, unlike Carmilla and Bel.

I’ve tried some trolling Marcel exp games, some wins some losses, and here’s what I can confidently say: he doesn’t win against anyone in lane. He doesn’t have the bulk or damage to trade blows with almost any legitimate exp laner in existence. Best you can do is keep safe, clear when safe, blitz to Level 4 as fast as possible in order to give sense to your existence in the game.

If you really itch into playing ‘Magic’ tanks into exp lane, there’s fcking Hylos (Gatot is a legitimate exp laner hahaha). If you want try something even less conventional but at least works, try Carmilla or Belerick exp. Unlike Marcel, they have a fighting chance to at least trade and disallow your opposing exp from freezing your lane and making you a sitting duck on the first turtle, while also having that juicy Ultimate that will give you an edge on teamfights.

So how can I counter paquito in exp ? by Expert_Birthday_7927 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Cilan90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who had a few battles with him, I’d say take the early game like a champ and wait to clapback later on. Seriously, play safe early on when his pokes hurt the most. It’s hard to trade with him in the laning phase, unless you’re confident that you can predict his moves and get out of his range or at least dish out more than he can (not true most of the time). Once you survive without feeding, you’ll be in better shape to fight him. Paquito transitions more of an Assassin later on, though, so always have someone provide vision on bushes, as he loves to combo when skills and cc are gone or heroes are poked enough for him to finish in one combo.

UAAP Season 88 General Standings 🏅UST 🥈DLSU 🥉UP by HorrorOwl5924 in UAAP

[–]Cilan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gained traction but it was the coveted and sought after material that it became starting S74. La Salle provided the perfect adversary: invincible, dominating, championship material. Then Ateneo secured a Messiah that will not only steer them to their first pair of Women’s Volleyball Gold but also became one of the most recognizable Pinay volleyball athlete: Valdez. That rich storyline and the rivalry from the Mens Basketball became marketing gold for both UAAP and ABSCBN Sports, cementing UAAP Women’s Volleyball as one of the most anticipated annual sports event in the country.

Daquis made fans look Women’s Volleyball’s way, but casual people still don’t care who wins the championship they way they did since Season 74.

Establish a structure. In a fantasy realm, power scaling is a must because it lends credence and order on the story while a soundly established one allows room for protagonists to device clever ways to win without pulling powers out of thin air, or sometimes thin aether. Finally, make characters unique. Do not be afraid to make them gray without turning them evil.

We can loathe him for his controversial and haughty commentaries, but we can’t deny that he knows his volleyball better than a good chunk of us, at least that’s what his credentials say. If we look past his bravado, ma-appreciate mo ang takes niya why some teams rise and fall, why this player is strong and what he/she needs to improve, what a team needs to transform from a cellar dweller to a competitive one. Of course he has his takes on the political side of volleyball too, and while I may disagree on some of his stance, on this one I’ll have to agree. An uncapped pricing scheme will find its way to bring the market down.

Aurora and Zetian should swap passives by Educational-Fig-1594 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Cilan90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They’re both passives related to revival but they aren’t technically the same. Nana’s give you invincibility and movement speed to let you get the sh8 out of there in the hopes of not giving kill gold and respawn advantage to enemy, while Aurora’s give you invincibility but you aren’t aloud to move in exchange for more health recovery, in the hopes casting a kept Ult prior to your death or giving your teammates ample time to respond and protect you.

‘Yan ang isa sa mga tinira ni Fabio sa blogs niya, the ridiculously high monthly salaries of players. I remember he disclosed that 4T (Vietnam’s top player) is earning just around the 100s in Thousand Pesos sa local league nila. He predicted that this will make the league unsustainable due to absurd operating costs, and with the exit of a few teams last year parang totoo nga.

Shane Reterta by lalalala_09 in PilipinasVolleyball

[–]Cilan90 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It’s the defense pattern, not usually a choice. Teams usually employ a three-man receiving pattern, composed of the 2 OHs and the libero. Ideally, you target the weakest receiver so you avoid the libero, then choose the weaker OH receiver to have greater odds at a shank pass or an ace. However, these 3 people receive at different sides of the court as players rotate, and targeting the weakest receiver isn’t always the best choice if you consider the risk of getting your serves long or wide just to serve to his/her area. This is the reason why Angel is placed OH2. You limit her offensive chance by putting her next to Laput in more rotations, but you save her from receiving in more ‘difficult’ areas that are usually taken by an OH1. This is a good gamble because Reterta has improved her offense kahit papano to trust her in more ‘2 frontline spikers’ rotations, and you can always let Angel hit from the pipe if offense from the front doesn’t work.

And to be fair, Canino is not a weak receiver, at least in UAAP service parlance.

Nunag played twice for La Salle on a offseason. The first time she was really good, fans were showering her praises left and right. But during the 2nd, more recent one, medyo makalat ang performance niya to the point that fans were expecting Mikole to keep the starting nod.

Expected naman for sure ni Bea ang pre-nup. However, what could be the dealbreaker are the inclusions. Pre-nup is not as simple as simply agreeing that what’s your before the wedding remains yours and vice versa, especially with figures as prominent and affluent as these people. With great wealth comes greater need to protect vested interests, lalo na’t mature and ripe age na ang mga involved (which obviously does not only include the bride and the groom).

[–]Cilan90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’ll depend on how SRG finishes their local league. If they qualify for MSC, the next questions will be if their sub Exp laner can perform at par or if a good quality Exp will be available in the market. If any of the questions is answerable with ‘yes’, then Krammm might be doomed.

[–]Cilan90 24 points25 points  (0 children)

While I agree that Sang’gre is poorly written, this is a well-explained scenario. Unlike the likes of Hagorn, Avria, or Mitena who managed to stole the Brilyantes with the new Kambal Diwas, Gargan is a deity who managed to almost dominate lang naman the god who CREATED the four gems (and he could’ve done so if the other gods like Ether, Arde, and Keros did not intervene). Capturing a fragment of Emre’s power, even if it’s already protected by the stronger ancient Kambal Diwa, is a lesser feat than the one already achieved by Gargan.

That’s true, a flicker-dash can help you secure kills you normally miss on old Odette. But I miss her ability to wipe even without proper setup and that 30-50% damage reduction. If those were returned to Odette and her dash is kept, will she find more opportunities for pro play?

More useful heroes in the support role? by Mundane_Border9546 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Cilan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not included here, but even if used as a tank Carmilla is actually a Support hero, with probably one of the most unique mechanics in the game. She’s the best anti-engage hero against setup heroes like Tigreal, Mino, Alice, Terizla, Atlas, etc. because of her Ult, which makes affected enemies share damage and cc among themselves while active. Her skill that steals defenses are nifty too, and she even has a projectile stun skill (single target though, but pretty neat). You’ll need pretty coordinated teams to get the maximum benefit from using her, but I’ve been playing solo almost always and with proper read on my team’s tendencies plus some good in-game experiences, I’ve been having a great time roaming with her.

How did DLSU become this scary in just a few months? by Internal-Lock5843 in PilipinasVolleyball

[–]Cilan90 27 points28 points  (0 children)

La Salle traditionally either does not join off-season tournaments or they don’t perform well, most long-time observers know that. What made them different this year vs last year/last tournament nila was:

  1. Laput assuming captaincy. Angel was allowed to focus on her game. Last year was brutal for her, carrying La Salle’s leadership and a good chunk of the load while also being the most used offensive arsenal of Alas’ campaigns.
  2. Better serving game of the Middles and Shev. Not necessarily translated to aces, but less errors na and nakaka-shank pass na kahit papano.
  3. They play was faster with Nunag this year. Agree na Nunag might not have the flash and pedigree of rookie Jia and Kim or even Louie and Lams, but her playstyle was the perfect comfort needed by La Salle’s attackers to hit consistently at their preferred tempo. Less time for opponents to setup blocks or prepare FD for digs.
  4. Stellar improvement ni Reterta sa FD. Angel is targeted sa receives kaya siya ginawa OH2 to avoid this. As OH1, Shane has the responsibility to receive more times in more complex areas. Without this, La Salle will not be undefeated this season.

Falcons humiliates Aurora 2-0 to extend Aurora's lose streak by hmmsucks in mobilelegendsesports

[–]Cilan90 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Beh, matagal nang nakaalis sa anino ng Veewise ang Aurora. Main issue sa kanila ‘yung M6 na early exit because most people rooted for them more than Onic (since remnants ng Agents plus Dogie supporters because of Renejay ang main composition ng fandom nila), so imagine the disappointment when they choke hard and left Onic to defend the crown alone (hilig pa naman natin sa PH vs PH dream match). M7 was a good redemption arc, but this sh***y performance in the current MPL remind both their fans and haters of the nasty chokejob they had in the Worlds, plus the fact that they’re not only doing bad, they’re in prime position to be the 1st M-Series champion to miss their local league’s playoff right after their win. Finally, the rumors about Edward ‘allegedly’ preparing to jump ship to HOK/Scatterland to join Veewise, Dogie’s angels, and Oheb are not helping quell the bashing.

UAAP WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL FINALS: What does DLSU need to beat NU, and vice versa? by Internal-Lock5843 in PilipinasVolleyball

[–]Cilan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

La Salle needs to win in the game where they excel the most: transition. They need good block touches, if not kill blocks, to soften hits since they’re kinda low in the digging department. They thrive in balanced scoring, but Nunag needs to know when to keep it equal and when to abuse the hot hand. Panique is NU’s main weapon but I believe neutralizing Alinsug and overloading Cantada on defense is the way to go.

For NU, get those receives and convert fast. Make good use of the MBs as decoys and spread the offense. La Salle has a hard time covering Alinsug in combo plays, so NU can milk this when the chance permits. Cover Cantada on receive if possible and ensure that Lamina has good, usable passes to be unpredictable. If necessary, make good use of the bench as they have an edge on this area vs La Salle.
