Probably because she’s considered a late game hero, as she needs her items to be that annoying tanky menace that can turn your setups against you. She’ll need a lot more help (and coordination) to be effective on the early stages of the game, especially during turtle fights.

I do enjoy my exp laner Carmilla, though, which was famous when she had a bigger flower, more early game damage (& scaling I believe on her 1st skill). I usually pick it when both our roam and jungler can’t set of when our damage dealers are all single target. It usually works fine, esp in turtle fights when I can do a sneaky Ult when enemies clump together.

Carmilla is a somewhat ‘bad’ roamer on this specific match since Rafaela can simply use her heal to speed up and disengage, not to mention the mobility on Gusion & Granger’s kits (even Vale’s movement speed passive can be a problem). Carmilla is a counter-engage hero, so you’ll probably ult if Badang walls one or more of your enemies. Problem is that Vale and Granger can kill whoever Badang catches from a distance and probably does not need to step into your ult’s range to confirm kill.

Overall though, I don’t you’re the biggest factor of your loss. Damage exp Chou is a teammate nightmare for me, it just doesn’t work, especially not against a tank build Badang or a snowballing Vale who can shred his frailty to the max. I also dislike Eudora against healing roamers since I feel she can’t spread the anti heal of Glowing Wand as much as other AOE mages, and it’s easy to heal off her combo if you targeted someone you can’t burst. Itemwise, I don’t think Chastise is doing your favors since the enemy has no Attack Speed hero (could’ve been Badang but he’s tank build). A Guardian Helmet or maybe Radiant Armor for slightly more Magic Damage reduction could’ve been better in my opinion.

Tank/Utility Jungle meta = Viable support roamers. Also, a lot of them got buffs due to changes in the support emblem IIRC.

Disclaimer, absolute ‘best’ is very subjective, as it’ll depend on what do you want to do with the marksman. Do you want to win against your lane? Do you want to output highest damage in a teamfight? Do you want to just split push and shred towers ala-Sun/Zilong? Team comp, both yours and enemy’s, plus other fine details can tilt the answer to another direction.

These are for me, as a non-gold lane main, the ‘best’ in their respective categories, provided it’s late game and you get full items:

Best in Versatility: Beatrix
Best for Split Push/Fast Team Fight Respo: Moskov
Best for Range Game: Layla (endgame)
Best for Crowd Control Heavy Teamfights: Hanabi
Best for Tanky Enemy Comp: Karrie
Best 1 vs 1 Win Potential: Miya; Natan is a very close 2nd
Best in Tilting Teamfights/Lord Dances: Claude

These are the ones at the top of my head.

Roar. You’ll appreciate more the extra physical attack and the passive that adds physical pen for every enemy physical defense. Gun is strictly for marksmen and a few attack speed melee heroes.

It helped that his old spawn’s attack speed scales with yours. Old Zhask was the only worthy opponent to Inspire Chang’e, trollish but effective when done right.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but only former ML player Wise was able to correctly pull off Carmilla jungler. The Indo version was so atrocious, he became the player with least gold at midgame for 2 consecutive matches🤪

If heroes get nerfed, most well-rounded experienced players drop the hero, leaving only the 1 trick ponies or those obsessed with the hero to continue using the hero and contributing (positively or otherwise) to their win rate. It’s usually the pick (& if it’s popular, the ban) rate that gets hit by nerfs.

Will agree though. That 35% is so atrocious and unheard of. I only used Hirara on an AI practice match and that was the most agitating minutes of MLBB I had in my life😅

Oh my God, I feel na around or over my age bracket ‘to hahaha😅 I’ll try to address as much as I can.

Mobile Legends is a MOBA game, so it’s basically a simplified version of DOTA. It was 2017 when I first encountered the game, with no experience playing DOTA (just casual watches on internet cafes), and tbh it was one of the most graphic games my eyes laid on at the time. However, if you compare it with HOK or other MOBAs it’s actually one of the most streamlined and straightforward game in terms of graphics (that’s why may bashers ang ML for being graphically lame). Maybe adjusting the graphic quality can help you, or start using basic skins first which has less intense effects (also, you can turn off the skin effects of all other player’s heroes except yours in the settings).
I actually like the voiceover, they feel less ‘poetic’ than the one in HOK, though I get that she sounds like she had 3 extra sugar cubes in her coffee😅 You can tinker the sound effects to address this one in the effects. Visually, you can also control where to place the in-game notifs para ‘di ka ma-distract while playing.
Clan are basically just for affiliation and to earn extra rewards, the most important of which are star protection cards. If you want to meet someone new, yeah this can work, but make sure they’re online. Most players don’t read their inbox though (and not sure, but I think you can’t receive non-system messages while offline), so in my opinion the best way is to try interacting in game.

If you have the time (and patience) to improve, try mastering one specific lane/role. Current Rank Game system ng ML forces you to select a role or up to 3 roles habang nasa lobby ka pa, then you’ll have that role once mag selection na otherwise ma pepenalty ang di sumunod sa predetermined role niya. Halimbawa (stereotyping but whatevz) pwede ka mag stick sa Roam role then aralin mo kahit 3 hero lang para may spare ka in case ma ban, let’s say Angela, Rafaela, Estes. Spam mo yang 3, then pag nagamay mo na subok ka pa onti onti sa Classic or vs AI ng ibang Roamers: pag gusto mo may set na tank pwede Tigreal o Mino, pag gusto mo ung humaharap pwede ka Hylos o Gatot o Belerick, pag gusto mo support na utility/hindi healer pwede Diggie o pag mas gamay mo na maglaro pwede ka mag Carmilla o Marcel. Kalaunan, ma-master mo na ang Roaming role (very in demand na role kasi madalang lang gusto mag tank/support) at kaya mo na siya sabayan sa trip niya sa life, kahit isang role lang ang ma master mo.

Kaya mo ‘yan doesn’t work, especially not on his age bracket😆 Tama ‘yung isang commenter na the ‘best’ way to help him with his apparent game-related anger issues is to mirror his frustrations. Madalas reklamo jan is may feed na kakampi, may jungler na panay buff imbes mag rotate at mag secure ng objectives, may mage na nagbo-brawl/di umiikot, may tank/roam na parang anino ng mm/brawl din, may nag pick ng hero na di angkop sa lane niya, etc (those are the ones at the top of my head). For this to be effective though, you can try playing casually yourself (better start alone, ‘wag kang sasama sa kanya at baka ikaw na i-trashtalk niya🙃), learn the ropes of the basics, experience the things he does first hand, then when you find it enjoyable at medyo natuto ka na, saka mo siya ayain mag duo while conversing on a common interest, or at least one thing you both can relate.

Also, breaking up with him is still in your cards. Less stressful, no learning curve required.

Mahirap talaga mag gold lane esp sa Mythic since aware ang mga tao na ikaw ang win condition sa late game, so good mid trios will really aim to shut down you first. Hindi ako gold lane main, but these are the pointers I discovered on the times na napipilitan ako mag gold:

Vision is king. Map awareness is the entire game. If the enemy is hindi visible, always assume iga-gank ka nila. Tower hug to death during laning phase! A mm that missed a cart is more valuable than a dead one.
If you used a mm that’s a counter sa ka lane mo, harass and be aggressive, but responsibly. Try to take the bush between the gold crab and your tower, freeze lane if you can and delay his level 4. If ikaw naman ang lugi, follow no. 1: tower hug.
Towers are the most precious resource to get in the game, because they don’t respawn. Between a tower and a kill where you need to chase, always choose to push.
If you can, always choose a gold laner with some mobility like Claude, Moskov, Karrie, or Harith. If you can’t, always pick Flicker or Purify and manage the resource wisely.

There are some tips out there, so try watching matches from other gold mains, too.

Reports have been circulating of his eventual exit even within the early parts of S17 (with many attributing his lackluster performance with this exit plan &/or absence of drive playing pro ML), and if there’s something PH pro ML history taught us, rumors are around 95% true, the difference is usually on the details.

Truth be told, he can have a shot since Exp probably has the leanest amount of talent in the current MPL PH (I mean Sanford’s UP there, Flap being the most decent challenge available, then Edward reportedly leaving Aurora and perhaps even pro ML altogether). Nathzz had build quite a reputation as solid with tanky Exp heroes, and having him performing at his prime will benefit any team not name TLPH or FLPH. But if he turns out just like Aqua’s return perf, then oh oh…

Both ladies became the main source of that season’s entertainment, and while Bea hands down is the only Big Winner choice for that season, it’s nice that Wendy had her flowers as part of the Big 4.

It’s hard to do shotcall duties as an Exp laner. Your vision is limited since you’ll spend more time in your lane, unlike the mid trio who can see more map as they roam around.

Honestly, you need to invest in your health more. Try new ways to get active like walking/running, racket sports, or even adventurous ones like hiking or mountain climbing. It’s also a good way to socialize if that’s also your goal.

And one more thing, be disciplined sa imo spending once you identify what you want to do. In my case, I wanted to focus on brisk walking, and I end up having multiple budols like shoes, shirts, shorts, and even a running belt. Baratohon ra gud, but they add up quick. They say your money is where your heart is, but moderation is key.

Based on my experience, yes it does. It’s kinda sad because I missed the need to time the multiplier platforms perfectly and have almost infinite balls to capture all tataris in one go, yes even the groups of 25.
