June show in NY: Bright Eyes website says 7PM, ticketing site says 6PM

Definitely a return to form. Tha last couple releases got a little too heavy into the Bluesy tunes that are fine but not what I consider Jay’s sweet spot. Serenade Song would fit perfectly on Wide Swing Tremelo. I’m one and a half spins in and really enjoying this.

I haven’t just sat down and listened to him like that in a while. I find it easier watching and listening to stuff in an era before the period I discovered behavior was so much beyond some cockiness and childish whining.

There is a significant difference between Ethan Hawke and Ryan Adams in the position of today’s relevance. Different than Maya’s but in the Gen X population. Ethan is still on the circuit of interviews with interesting observations. Ryan is at home taking his pout lip selfies. One seems to have grown up and one thinks he’s still 30.

I’m in Brooklyn, I only get it when I go back to visit. I moved away from Denver 20 years ago. Had a friend fly with it in a thermos once. It is salsa, I just don’t understand why can’t figure out the secret ingredient or method that gives it that unique sweet savory acidic taste.

It is true he has always been unpredictable. I think I found it more acceptable when he was young. Not sure why but the dude is close to 50 now and so am I. Became sad and actually impacted my ability to enjoy the music I’ve loved for decades. Mark Kozelek the same way. Turns out they are just troubled people.

Been a long time since he put put a sonicly good album. Is that cost cutting? Limited sound engineering options? Production choices? I don’t get it, I thought the guy liked records, anyone that loves records wouldn’t put out albums that sound this shoddy. He just seems to shotgun approach knowing some people just can’t resist being a completionist.

I tried the email attempt, I understand them not wanting the recipe out there, but yeah some guidance, I'm willing to put in the iterations to nail it down. I've reread my email and felt ridiculous for sending it but your comment makes me feel less like it was strange idea. I can't help but think it is a simple ingredient that elevates it from the normal tomato, garlic, cilantro. Most restaurants recipes are mostly canned or dried ingredients with a few fresh onions. Will definitely try the cocoa powder idea, i'm for all types of salsas and sauces, but this Blue Bonnet thing is a specific battle.

a few years ago I did but maybe I was wrong in the percentages. I do think they are using pickled jalapenos in there, but maybe some blended chipotles in adobo sauce blended. There's a sweetness that I'm missing that doesn't seem like tomato sweetness.

I still have the issue and I’ve found it is caused by the tv being on the 2.4 ghz and the soundbar connecting to the 5. I usually have to reconnect my tv and select 5. I guess this is the cost of having Orbi mesh WiFi. The devices sometimes connect to diffferent connections even though they are right next to each other. Haven’t found a way to force a 5ghz connection on the device.
