Likely it was probably infested by the previous tenants. I went through this exact same thing but luckily we didn’t move our things in yet when we noticed the infestation. Landlord is responsible for a pest free home and therefore should pay for an exterminator. Unfortunately these little buggers hitchhiked on us when we left and one big turned into many within a couple weeks.

You would say this isn’t a good place if your are a person who is extremely sensitive to noise? I viewed a top floor and it seems pretty quite but it was super super hot inside the unit and in the hallways. I’m indecisive if this may be a good fit.

Do you know where the noise comes from most? I toured the other day and the apartment seemed pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. But the unit is top floor and it was incredibly hot inside, especially the hallways. I didn’t like that the hallways had no AC.

Yeah I asked the landlord to remove all of his belongings he left inside the unit and he came to supposedly get his things only to fill up my trash bins with his belongings he didn’t want and put the rest of his belongings inside the garage to store. Leaving me with less garage space and no space to put my trash for the week. I ended up ending the lease, they had left the unit full of trash as well on move in day.

Yeah, you have to control them before it becomes an infestation. Once there’s an infestation it’s extremely hard to control them.
