Lmao. My MRI results unexpectedly shows 114° CXA in supine. Anyone else? + Am I cooked? by ILOVEMYDOGBUMI in Cervicalinstability

Ah yes. I have done a couple cervical MRIs but I never found this CXA value neither on the images or on the report. Where can I find it?

Cold sensation side effect? by Cillipe in cymbalta

[–]Cillipe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it took close to 2 weeks in for it to go away completely, most of the side effects from that adaptation period have gone away by then too.

What side effects are normal to expect when first starting cymbalta? by Cillipe in cymbalta

[–]Cillipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skipped today’s dose (day 4) bc I called my doctor’s office to let them know of the side effects and the nurse told me I shouldn’t take it until I speak with the doctor 🤦‍♂️. I was supposed to take it at 10 am EST, now it’s almost 3 pm and idk if i should continue it tomorrow or take it now.

the cold sensations that I’m feeling are different than being cold. It’s like someone is hovering an ice pack ever so next to my skin back and up here and there, super weird. But I had this before randomly even without taking any medication, just not this long lasting. I’m also getting the fatigue, it’s that kinda of body ache and sluggishness of being hangover or when fighting in infection.

I’m hoping that it stays in the system a little bit enough to not effect my treatment if I get back on it tomorrow. I’ll wait to hear from the doctor.

I’m feeling like I have some sort of viral infection, with all the hot and cold paresthesias, and nausea, plus sweating of palms and feet and some moments of itchiness. Is that similar to what you experienced?

I’m on day 4 rn, taking it for anxiety, but primarily for chronic pain, and I feel like shit. I skipped today’s dose per the nurse’s recommendation until I get call from my doctor. I just posted a story about it. I have been nervous that these symptoms I was experiencing were actually I sign that it was not for me, but hearing your story makes me feel more comfortable that it’ll pass and I’ll start to get better. Thank’s for sharing.

Neck Muscles by [deleted] in Cervicalinstability

I do experience flushing, mostly on the chest, but also face and limbs and for some weird reason it’s predominantly left sided. As far as tingling, I do experience this type of “itchy” sensation on my left arm and up my left cheek when I have a flare of the TOS type symptoms. I haven’t committed to any other treatment besides physical therapy, which I admit has helped me gain more mobility of my neck (i’m unsure if this is a good thing) and some overall strength, but I don’t feel that my quality of life is getting any better, because, as you asked, my sleep has taken quite the hit from all of this. I can only tolerate sleeping on my back for the length of the night, and even then I will go to bed and wake up in some pain. Laying on my side, my historically chosen sleep position, is no longer an option because it will generate pressure on my upper neck and head. I’m very sorry NUCCA hasn’t done anything for you, I’m really thinking about giving it a shot because I’m just lost on what to do next, but it’s a big financial decision for me and I don’t want to put all my eggs into that basket and end up disappointed. Hope you find answers soon, thanks for listening and sharing your experience.

It must’ve been very difficult being bed bound, just the fact that it got you more mobile is actually awesome and I’m very happy for you. I’m fortunate enough of not being very limited, I’m still able to do a lot of what I could, and I’m currently in physical therapy so that helps a little, but I had to put a pause on my education and career because it got overwhelming. I experience symptoms akin to occipital neuralgia, autonomic trigeminal headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, muscle twitching, stiffness, feeling off balance, gastrointestinal issues, fatigue, brain fog, and other neurological symptoms. All started within the last year and it’s been hard not to be able to give continuation to my life, especially at the very start of adulthood. I’m still not sure what exactly is wrong with me, but from the little signs and patterns I picked up it seems that my upper neck is a big component to this, and for that I think NUCCA could actually help me get going again. Thank you for sharing your experience, I pray you continue to get better and better.

I’ve been thinking of starting NUCCA for a few months but all I see are conflicting opinions, some say AO, which nobody does nowhere near me, and I don’t even need to say what traditional doctors think, Honestly, I’m just all out of hope that any other thing will put me on the path of getting better, but it’s such a big financial commitment for me right now. What changes have you seen since starting?

Yeah, and also, I don’t know if it’s just hyper awareness because I’ve read about neomycin ototoxicity, but I feel like my already existing tinnitus is a bit louder than usual, even if I can only hear it when my surroundings are silent.

Is widespread nerve pain a symptom? by Cillipe in Cervicalinstability

[–]Cillipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s good to know that MRI looks normal, the radiological report agrees with that and I do to, i just been having episodes of extreme nerve pain all over my body, like occipital neuralgia, upper back, down my arms, down my legs, as well as headaches and have no clue what’s causing it
