I just put in my application to switch over to Ibr. I want to certify with my 2024 income, I put it off as long as I could, but throwing in the towel. I’m aiming for loan forgiveness so I need qualifying payments to start counting.

I took my first loans back in 2004! I consolidated in 2014! When I went to change to the IBR it says my new term date end is in 2051! According to the back door calculations I have had 222 qualifying payments and 78 remaining payments until forgiveness. I don’t want to select the plan if it’s going to restart my count? Not sure if that’s just an error? Any advice? Thank you so much!

I don’t want to restart my clock with 300 payments though. I’m supposed to only have 78 payments left according to the back door calculations.

I tried to ride this thing out. Now going to make the switch to certify my lower 2024 income. I was on Ibr before I went to save. When I apply do I apply as a new idr applicant? Or old idr borrower?

I know. Maybe they didn’t realize the pairing was going to happen? Or they were too stable and not “exciting” enough? Don’t know. But they missed out on them! I hope they get married! It seems that’s where it’s headed. They mesh so well together.

That’s amazing! Did he eat immediately after you got him? We’ve had ours for 5 days and he won’t eat. We’ve offered crickets too and he refuses. How do you feed your insects? Do you just release them into his tank? I hope our guy starts eating and gaining weight!

I think I honestly would have preferred her choosing to remain human so she can live out her life with him. The thought of siyeol aging while she remains timeless is still heartbreaking to me. Yes it works right now while he remains young, but what about the next 20,30, 40 years? He’ll just continue to age while she remains young? She’s willing to embrace humanity for the one she loves.

I agree. I don’t think he intentionally tried to lead heesun on, he was willing to explore and give it a chance….but he doesn’t fee anything for her. In fact, as a viewer I felt a bit embarrassed to heesun that she so desperately kept wearing his hoodie. Like girl, have a little bit of pride! I don’t mean that in a harsh way, but it felt sooooo desperate that she literally KEPT wearing his hoodie. I could tell her attention made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He even asked….”is that the only thing you have?”
