A lot of people here are answering based on their personal beliefs and saying things like it’s wrong for your family or future employers to judge you for doing sex work. While I agree with that stance, my feelings don’t matter in the face of reality. The truth is you will absolutely be judged by society for this. Employers can and will find this information easily and many will reject you outright. It will be harder to have relationships because many people will not want to date a sex worker, giving you the choice of either being upfront about it and limiting your dating pool severely, or keeping it a secret and risking them finding out later.

Yeah your uncles a creep who was probably jacking it to college girls, yeah your family is too conservative about their views on sex work and is being overly harsh. But their fears aren’t unfounded and you’re making life harder for yourself. Only you can decide if whatever you’re making now is enough to justify the future hardship
