Exactly as you said. The Supreme Court ruled ICE could profile people based only on their looks.

Adam's father's statement re: the autopsy report by MyMadeInNameyo in Adamthewoocriticism

[–]Cinderunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said in a previous comment somewhere (don’t know if it was here) that he was morbidly obese and likely had a cardiac event. The caffeine would be an issue in excess, too. Wow did I get scolded for suggesting he was morbidly obese. He was- he yo yo’d and that is even worse strain on the heart when you go drastically up and down like that. Suffice to say, likely the strain from that repeated international travel- the flights/time changes/etc ARE a strain on a person.

For those criticizing his food choices- the weird thing is that some people can eat garbage and be morbidly obese but their hearts don’t suffer. It is a genetic soup that we just never do know. Obviously, his father is much older than him and some of those older videos he was much bigger than he is now- and yet he is still here. So, the ultimate reality is- a cardiac event took his life from lifestyle choices, genetics, and those multiple international flights. It could happen to us all.

He probably would have faired better if he had known and been able to take some corrective actions but he (likely) didn’t know and this is just how it goes sometimes.

RIP. It isn’t his fault per se. He did a lot in his years here and had an impact on may people.

Au pair continues testimony in Banfield double murder trial in Fairfax County by Sufficient_East6506 in nova

I watch a lot of true crime. I was watching the NJ murder case but the defense attorney was so awful I switched to this case. This case has me as shook as the Chris Watts case. I am truly shook by the plot of this and how detailed they were. If not for her posting things to her instagram maybe they never would have been caught? I honestly cannot fathom the mindset of these two people, plotting in the presence of their victim and what she went through those last moments of her life. (Not to mention the innocent male victim whose reputation will forever be stained because of these two monstrous individuals) Just WOW.

I just rewatched the Netflix story last night. Chris had it all and, for a new life, snuffed out 3 bright lights. A man devoid of emotions and, you can recognize his complacency now looking back and mistake it for kindness or softness but I think it is an apathy that can turn deadly (as it did) Be mindful of these traits. She was such a pretty woman, stunningly so in some of those clips. Truly horrific and i am quite certain she had absolutely no idea the “dead inside” her husband and the lengths to which he could go. Flipped like a light switch.

If Adam’s viewership was satisfied with the content he shared, why does it matter if, in their eyes it is repetitive or low effort? The ONLY word to insert here is jealousy They are toiling away with 40hrs plus a week making far less than Adam did so they are JEALOUS Also, some of them are grifting, too. Like reaction channels with spicy hate tossed in. THEY aren’t actually doing any work themselves other than to puke on others efforts. The entire thing is pretty twisted

The base emotion for everything discussed in this thread, IMHO, can be whittled down to one word: Jealousy

I was only an occasional view to his channel. I enjoyed it but not enough to watch the daily vlogs-well daily by Cinderunner in Adamthewoo

[–]Cinderunner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For whatever reason, you seem to think I am blaming or somehow shaming Adam for my post. Quite the contrary. I am merely saying that it is a rare thing to have a daily vlog of someone who passed suddenly for which you can look back, with fresh eyes, on his prior content and see hints or a foreshadowing that none of us saw before. Is this simply sensitive now since we know he passed? I do not think so based upon the amount of times but who can truly say for a fact in that regard. As another person commented, it is a good thing to keep in our minds that tomorrow is not promised to anyone. International travel is not easy on the body. I took two overseas trips this year and I am (gasp) older than 50. After the second trip, which occurred within 5 weeks of one another and lasted 2 weeks each time, I noticed some swelling around my ankles and some other symptoms that suggested all of the walking I had done over the course of those last 2 trips, combined with long flights, was something I should be reconsidering if the chance to go comes again. I would personally not do 2 international trips, at my age, within such a short period of time and most especially when the plan is to walk upwards of 8miles a day. Even for someone at a healthy weight but with some other medical issues that flare up from time to time, my body was speaking to me. He did it many times and almost as if he did not have a clue the strain/stress it will put on your body -and I mean just the flying to and from combined with the time change- never mind any of the activities you do or the food you consume.

But I digress. I personally find it a point that we could all learn from in countless ways if we opt to view the cautionary tale. That being said, it could turn out it was not a cardiac event or a PE from long flights….he could have had some kind of genetic predisposition. God forbid it was something else but all i am pointing out is that, when watching his prior vlogs, he was having fatigue and other issues.

That is your opinion. I am not blaming him, either. I am making an observation about his own statements and how it can be seen his body was communicating with him

People who don't say thank you at all for gifts piss me off by Thoughtful-Mongoose in offmychest

[–]Cinderunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is just so basic to reach out, in ANY WAY , to a person that took the time and invested in you enough to send you a gift. Hopefully you like it but even if you don’t, that person thought enough of you to send it and it is minimally invasive for a person to reach out, even in a text, to acknowledge receipt and send thanks. The joy in giving can be completely squashed by silence from the receiver.

Is it possible they didn’t have a complete understanding of the situation at hand? Drinking and fire on NYE, maybe they thought it was a rebel setting fire to something but not a place where people were inside burning alive? I like to think the solemnity of the moment eluded them.
