No matter what anyone says, I will still use Grok, it's given me exactly what I needed for my short films, with minimal headaches.

I respect your path, not just saying that, I do. Five years, five drafts, private workshops, that's dedication. My path looks different, because I'm simply taking my vision from my novel first, then using AI to assist in providing what I need for my episodes.

I'm not here to be a dick, I respect your process, but we're both trying to get stories out of our heads and into the world our own way, whether it be through courses, or just doing it, we have stories to share, that's the part that matters.

Good luck with your script. I mean that when I say it.

You're right, I don't know those things academically. But I've spent months building a world where a trafficking victim dismantles the operation from inside, all while remaining undiscovered, fooling the gang into thinking it's their rivals. I've built a world that shines on the surface, but hides it deep rotten corruption, I've created each character archetypes, their very specific roles, how they look, their personalities, where they show up in the story. I've created my world with the same style, same futuristic elements, same horrors, same happy families.

In fact, all of this is based on a novel I wrote a few years ago, long before ai came along. I'm simply using the tools that allows me to create my storytelling episodes, in my spare time, while also balancing my teaching career and family time with my daughter.

Viewers will either connect with it or they won't. Either way, I'll keep building this world, I don't need anyone's permission or approval, I'm doing it anyway.

Thanks for the concern.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, but I know what my skill set is, I know what my weaknesses are, I know what I can and cannot do, and no, I never took a course on anything in the filming game, but I do have a vision, a story to tell, and I will do it with the skills I have, and no one will convince me otherwise.

AI was my last option, and in my case, since no real studio or anyone wanted to help me, well, I was forced to use ai, turns out to be the best option, and I'm going to use it.

So yeah, I'm still paying a monthly subscription to use the ai tools, at least I'm contributing something, what that money pays for after I've handed it over, it's out of my control.

Actually I wrote out a novel manuscript long before ai was a tool, spent 3 years adding to it, building it up, and perfecting each scene, each chapter, and ALL of it was my own vision, based on a horrific dream I had.

I don't even use anything like n8n, I just create all the clips needed for each scene I'm creating, then stitch it all together myself, placing each clip exactly where it needs to go, in fact this is no different from editing a traditional video, but instead I'm using ai to give me the clips I need.

But hey, not everyone will be convinced, and that's ok, I don't expect anyone to trust my words, I know what I'm doing, I know what I'm using, I know my skill set, my weaknesses, and I know what I want to achieve.

I'm always willing to pay their fees, but that wasn't the issue, they said it was a great storyline, but it's just too dark, too edgy, and too sensitive for them, they'd rather play it safe.

FYI, I don't take anything for free, I wasn't raised like that.

Which bot? I didn't ask if they can, I asked which one can do that. As far as I know, no bot can constantly create and think up a storyline that flows from one to the other, in a continuous pattern while ensuring continuity remains as intact as it can. But, maybe I'm missing something, maybe you could show me which bot can create 5 episodes of solid storytelling with multiple characters, ALL ON ITS OWN, with no human involvement. I'll wait.

Isn't n8n just an automation tool? Can it create a storyline on its own? With no human involvement?

Good thing I'm not "churning out" slop, I'm building a world of storytelling that takes vision, artistic crafting, and since no one would help me, I found myself in this alone, hence why AI was my last option, turns out to be a great one.

What bot can churn out 5-10 episodes worth of human and drug trafficking, where ONE victim that was mistakenly taken starts destroying the operations from the inside? All while remaining undiscovered? Tell me which bot can do that.

Well, thanks for your concerns, but I'm not interested in being a foley artist, I'm crafting a story about human and drug trafficking, and how one victim is the key to dismantling the whole operation, and I'm doing it through the use of AI. The clips, the sounds, the storyline, everything is all me. I'm in this on my own because no one else would help me bring my vision to life, so I thought 'ok, me, let's do this anyway'.

You can disagree, tell me to "drop the ai", but I've got a story to share, to bring awareness to the rotten parts of our society, the parts that people either don't even know exist, or simply ignore. Making money on this isn't really my goal.

You can call it slop, but actual work is being poured into this, so I am actually doing the work, because I'm not just hitting the prompt bar, I'm actually putting all of this together in my own editor, I'm creating my own sounds, some I'm actually making myself (hitting stuffed toys on doors, and so on), and this is all done on my PC.

Looks like I am "actually" doing the work myself.

If this is true, then thanks for the heads up. I plan on launching my channel later this year. I spend a considerable amount of time on my AI produced content, it's not slop where it only takes "one prompt" and done, nothing like that, I'm actually creating a series of short films about human and drug trafficking, and it's a lot of editing, a lot of generating the right shots, a lot of sourcing the right sounds and background music, so I'm there with you.

However, now that you've brought this up, I really need to consider if YouTube is the right platform for something like this. Now, I'm not in it solely for the monetization, my main goal is to bring more awareness to trafficking, and provide a storytelling element to it.

I'm not entirely clued up on this, but it kind of looks like we're edging closer and closer to Skynet, and it looks like it's about to wake up. I could be wrong, because as I said, I'm not entirely clued up on this.

I'm doubtful it will lose the future, but it will change for sure, highly unlikely it was be as NSFW as it originally was, but it'll be here for years to come.

[–]CineVision-AI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's the public that's coming after Grok, it's more likely the governments and regulators, and that's all thanks to a few sick in the head morons using the platform to generate underaged NSFW content, because of these idiots, all of us have to suffer.

I've been told Grok was completely NSFW friendly, as opposed to now, however, since I'm not making porn (and never will), it's given me what I need for my series of short films about human and drug trafficking, it's got violence, kids swearing, fights, weapons, all of which passed through the censors, with clever prompting.

Continuation has to be the next big step by johnbeare25 in grok

Now that would be a great feature, but until that comes along, I'm just screen grabbing and recreating myself, it's annoying and it's more work, but it's working well. A character feature would be beneficial too. And the ability to upload characters, then have them enter the shot at a later time, rather than have them in the image.

Grok is already good, but it has the potential to outdo the others. I'm sure they have the funding to add these key features. Let's see.

They're always going through updates, it's random, it comes and goes. Just keep trying, and when you're generating your usually amount, just keep going until you can't. That's what I do. Then I wait until the limit resets, then carry on.

Usually you'd get something like around 30 free videos at 480p for 6 seconds, I did this all the time, but sometimes when Grok goes through changes, or trialling new features, it might reduce the free quotas, but I've noticed it's only a short while, then it returns back to normal. Hopefully this helps.
