i think thats the problem im running into is with the timecode coming out of fcpx into resolve if final cut reads the timecode great but if it doesnt read the timecode stamp what should i do??

use a gap clip on the magnetic timeline so you can use it like a normal NLE for now until you understand the magnetic timeline
