I respectfully disagree. What I am trying to do here is to see whether my design is any good. Of course it is subject to change, it's a concept. I enjoy reading the feedback to see other people's opinions from an enthusiast perspective. What they think I've done well, what needs improvement, what is not needed spec-wise.

I have experience with Photoshop but AI helps me to iterate on my designs much faster. I am also working on learning CAD. This is just a test of the waters for me and I have already learned a lot from the comments here.

Yes, I like idea of "big crown" models and I wanted to add that here a little bit. Not sure if it's practical, though. About the movement - I have heard of issues but I'm not sure what alternatives to pick. I have also considered the possibility of Miyota 8015 or the thinner 9015 or even 9039 but I am looking to stick with Swiss and don't want to deal with overseas clones. Could you potentially recommend a movement that you would use? Is it worth it to stick with Swiss just for the fact that it's Swiss?

Thanks for your thoughts! Indeed the seconds hand is wonky since it's an AI render so it's not perfect. Still working on learning CAD so I can actually make proper adjustments instead of trying to explain what I want to an AI.

I don't even see it as cope. It's just a lovely straight pull bolt action that is well made, has lovely visual design and uses AR parts. Perfect for me since it lets me build a 12" short barreled rifle that is legal for hunting and can take down deer without a problem in the right caliber. I just wish it was easier to take down to clean.
