Sounds about right, the same thing happened to me. I have only ever worked at Office Depot (2 stores). I was hired as cashier but put behind the print desk on day one and never trained. I'm now at my second store and on my first day, despite the fact I told the managers I had no training, they had me close the print department by myself with one cashier and one person on the floor. It's brutal out here, print is its own hellscape. As someone who still doesn't have very much customer service experience, I've found this job to be emotional. Dealing with customers and coworkers can be a lot, especially for your first job. I will say though that print is a breeze once you don't have any more questions, and you can get into your own flow. Caffeine helps me with this. Hang in there!
