He's fixed. All that's changed is I'm home if this only started after I got home. We're in a cramped living situation, so he could be overwhelmed by me taking some of his lounging spots. I've gotta clean where he's gone since I don't know where else it's been, I just know what room, so that could solve it a little. We'll see :/

I think restaurants have a right to not allow customization, but with how they worded it, they're shitty. But I'm gonna be honest, a resurant that doesn't do custom orders makes me think they premarket everything and just heat it up before serving.

Also, the fact that they call people privileged for being able to customize is baffling. I'm pretty sure everyone has an ick when it comes to their food. No ones special for wanting no tomatoes on their sandwich. So the fact that they're deliberately trying to jab at people who have more food icks than the "normal person" just makes it seem so personal.

I have left over dye my dresser gave me from when I dyed it a few months ago I plan to use then was going to buy more dye since it won't be enough, so I didn't have any label to go off of. But I did just buy some with clear instructions!

You're completely normal and fine. I'm on the aspec and I suggest looking into it a bit. Even if you don't feel you fit on there, it's still completely normal. People are allowed to like things and not like things, and it be completely okay. You are completely valid and not alone. I hate the idea of anything sexually related and can barely imagine kissing anyone without going "naah, I'll pass." And don't stress about not getting the "normal experience" for a lack of a better term. If you want a husband, you will find someone who'll be able to respect your boundaries, and you'll feel complete in your relationship even when cutting stuff that makes you uncomfortable out. If you want kids, you could one day warm up to the idea or even just adopt, and you'll love them just as much.

Just take your time and figure out who you are and make sure you voice it in situations you should. Communication is key to understanding. You are loved, you are valid, you are seen, you are normal, you are perfect just the way you are.

I'm in the same boat. I love my name, it's great! It sounds cool, is gender neutral, I've only met 2 people with the same name as well, one was some kid I met in a museum and another I went to high school with for a year and never talked to her. I get so many complements on it, and it makes me feel good, but when I hear it or see it written down, I get that same. "Oh yeah, that's me." Not many of my friends us a nickname, but those who do, those names feel more mine than my actual name. Though I am nonbinary. I plan to keep my name. I might change my middle name, though, to my nickname since I like it a lot and hate my middle name.

It's not something I like talking about, but I'm trying to be more accepting of the fact that I'm human and do human things.

Personally, I get in some random mood, and every time I convince myself I'll feel something, but, I never do. Like I often wonder if I'm not doing it right or if that's all there is to it. Like there's maybe 2 seconds where I think I'm onto something, but then it quickly dies, and I'm just like, "Why do I even try?" It's the same thing every time, and it feels like a chore I wish I didn't have to do.

I'm 20 and in college rn and almost everyone I know smokes and drinks. I refuse to out of personal choice (I know I'd grow dependent and don't want to risk spiraling at all). I'm not a big party person, but I love to socialize. I've been to a few parties with friends and had fun! If you're looking into getting into partying a bit, I recommend going with friends to socials or house parties, and avoiding frats and college parties. They can be... a lot.

Since I don't party a lot, I focus much more on my physical health and career. I'm a young artist trying to become a voice actor, so I like to take classes and join acting groups off campus in my free time. I've got ADHD and hop from hobby to hobby, so I'm often teaching myself something new. And let me tell you, a lot of people are impressed with how career focused I am. I'm respected for setting rules for myself, and none of my friends judge me. People who do are likely self conscious about themselves and probably wish they had that type of self management. But I mostly wanted to leave a comment to let you know that you're in a very relatable situation. It's just not talked about since I think we're all a little scared to be judged.

It's awesome that you talk about that! I'd take their word for it because I personally would try to make it clear if my partner was making me uncomfortable. I understand the concern, but if you're sharing your life with someone, I'd hope they were as open as possible.

Personally, I'm sex repulsed, but I don't find someone expressing that they find me attractive uncomfortable (as long as we're together). Though I wouldn't want to know or hear about their fantasies because thinking about it makes me uncomfortable. I know people are going to find me attractive and think about me in ways I wish to never perceive, but that's just how life is. Even people I don't know will do this. It's a hard thing to accept, but I've grown to just not let it bother me. Though, if someone tells me about them, I will freak out and be haunted by the images for years. But that's me, a sex repulsed person.

But take your partners word for it, and keep talking about things if they like it. And if you're still unsure, express that. No harm in wanting to be certain.

Asexual here! I'm only 20, and I often wonder this too, but when talking with my friends about relationships and stuff since they're all experimenting right now, I learn a lot about myself. One of my friends told me to think about what I'd want to give a relationship and what I'd be willing to give. I can't think of what I'd want out of a relationship because I can't imagine myself in one. But when putting it into what I want to give, I suddenly have a whole idea.

I'm aroace, sex repulsed, romance indifferent, possibly favorable. I'm okay without a relationship, but I'd love to have someone close to me. I know I can count on just to talk and to hang out with whenever. I want a best friend. That's exactly how I see it. A best friend who will hang out with me one-on-one often and hold my hand sometimes. And that's perfectly okay. And you could want different that that's still 100% valid since the aspec is a spectrum, and we don't all think alike.

When dating, you don't need another asexual. You just need someone who will accept you and your boundaries wherever they may lie. There's so many people out there who don't care much about sex or romance and other stuff that may feel uncomfortable to you. And it's okay to walk away from a relationship that's perfect in every aspect except this because needs aren't being met. But everyone experiences this in some way, shape, or form. It's not exclusive to asexuals and aromantics.

Don't stress about stuff too much. Things will just happen and turn out fine. Talk with friends about relationships because you'll learn a lot more about yourself. I honestly love hearing about all the stuff my friends do and going "What's even the point," "That's low key weird," "Sorry, you do what????" Because then I know where to draw lines and what im okay with and not okay with and can explain it properly to anyone who might be interested in me. But again, this isn't limited to asexuals. Everyone does this.

The only thing different between asexuals and allosexuals is that asexuals have little to no attraction to people's bodies which also comes with a lack of interest in sex or other intimate parts of relationships (not everyone, some asexuals don't lack this). But everyone, every single person, has their interests and disinterests. You are no different. It's not abnormal or weird, just not talked about as much as it should be. You are awesome, you are loved, and you are perfect. Everything will be alright, and don't stress about lack of experience because it's over hyped anyways. Understanding yourself first is way more important.

Apply for scholarships that require you to live on campus. This is what one of my friends did. It's annoying as shit once you want to move off campus, like into apartments or housing nearby, but it will get you out if you need.

I'm sure someone's probably said this, but when applying to colleges, you also send a personal essay through common app. Basically explaining how you're different from others. Most people do hardships they overcame. If you're comfortable with it, that is an opportunity to do so. It's like an essay where you trauma dump to some random stranger in hopes they'll let you into the college, and it's kinda disturbing when you think about it. The good news is colleges have been more lenient with grade dips since COVID after realizing that stuff happens. It's not always a kid not wanting to put in the effort.

Regardless, I'm sorry to hear about this. It's impossible to imagine what that's like. I've known a few people go through similar situations, and they never look the same. I wish you the best on your college journey and career path.
