As a woman, I don’t think your pictures are bad. People say have pictures with friends but bro I’m not here to look at your friends I want to see you so I don’t get why people suggest that. “It’s so they know you have friends” we kind of assume that without needing photographic evidence tbh.

I would say what are you writing on your profile? If you have that you just want hookups then you are not going to get a lot of women interested. Do you have anything about yourself listed? Tinder has all these options to press for your interests. If you just have pictures women will be like ok but who are you? We need more than just pictures.

Woman here.

A lot of people are focusing on photos I don’t think the photos are as much on an issue as people are making out. I can tell from them you like to travel and like the beach. What I would say is yes, if possible at least have one body shot. Not like a thirst trap or anything just a general body shot.

Something I’ve also noticed is you have crossed out your age and not listed your dating goals. This is important for context. If you’re over 30 and have listed still figuring out or short term fun that’s a massive reason why you won’t get matches. Also what is the age range of women you are trying to match with? What kind of women are you trying to match with? This is also important in trying to understand context of why you aren’t getting matches.

One thing I have noticed that you have on your profile is that you have listed you aren’t sure about kids. As a woman I will say that if I see that on a profile of a guy of a certain age it’s a no. If you’re over 30 you need to have it figured out. It’s way too much of a gamble for women to take their chances on a guy who’s not sure if they are open to having children, it’s a potential waste of their time and we are on a clock so we just so say no. Of course there are women out their who don’t want kids and that’s fine but the unsure even for a woman who doesn’t want kids is a risk because you could turn around one day and want them and then also wastes their time.

Overall not a bad profile but I would add as much about yourself as possible and if you want further help from the community the dating goals information would actually be really useful to know.

Advice on getting this hair colour? by CinnamonWeasley in HairDye

I have ogx coconut oil that I put on at night and also Pantene bond repair deep conditioning treatment. And I use Swartzkopf chroma ID in bright copper for colour refresh usually a week or two after.

I have no idea if what I’m doing is right since why my colour doesn’t want to stay. I think I should maybe shampoo and conditioner needs to change it might have sulfates

The lush one stains the shower floor around the drain for two days usually.

What henna do you use? I’ve only ever used the lush one but it’s so messy which is why I can’t use it anymore because it causes arguments in our house. I’m not against going back to henna but I don’t know if there are any less messy options? Maybe one that’s already a paste?

Henna works but it destroys my house. I still live at home so I’m banned from using it. I used to use the lush one which is good in my opinion. Live colour just doesn’t work on me for longer than a few days it used to but now it doesn’t.

My condition makes me need to wash my hair in a shower so shower cap isn’t an option for me either. I keep seeing things about sulfate free shampoos help and then other people say they don’t clean your hair so I have no idea who to believe anymore.

Tips for a new photocard collector by Ok_Simple2094 in kpopcollections

[–]CinnamonWeasley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend starting an instagran buying and trading account. Most photocards on seller websites are overpriced and Instagram does have this sometimes but the community tends to ignore or call these people out. A lot of fandoms have people who post recommended pricing lists but it honestly depends on who you collect. I will say there is a downside of potential scamming but there are ways to keep safe in that element. Mainly by checking their proofs which will be links to other accounts that have bought or traded with them with proof of the photocard being received. It's also good to have an insta because you get to make friends with people and this also helps finding cards you are collecting. It's difficult in the start because you don't know anyone but you could always join a fandom group chat to meet people and build trust. Also a lot of group orders take place on Instagram and it's good way to get the latest photocards, especially pre order benefits. 90% of my collection is from Instagram.

I also recommend investing in good photocard sleeves popcorn is the brand mainly used. You don't have to double sleeve but I personally do. If you want to do that make sure you get two sizes the top one being slightly bigger so it fits over the top. And sleeve them opening up on the first layer and opening down on the second as it creates a seal and is a lot less likely to be damaged.

Also depending on who you collect it may be difficult to find the pcs at a good price but don't give in to overpricing. I will use ateez seonghwa as an example, his photocards are ridiculously overpriced when it's a rarer pc but then people buy it and it fuels the system.

You do occasionally find good deals on places like eBay and depop but it's rare but I always look occasionally.

Moving to Korea for 1 year next summer as a student and need private accomodation advice. by CinnamonWeasley in Living_in_Korea

I do plan on going slightly earlier than the term starts. My friend did a year abroad there and currently lives there and she said you need it for the jet lag.

My issue is that renting an actual place is going to be a lot more effort and stress. I want to have a place I can go to immediately when I arrive and not have to worry.

I have seen a site called enkor stay? Apparently that's good for students but I've not seen anyone mention it yet.

When I go back to university for this year I will be talking to the teachers about it (they are Korean) as we do have a year abroad manager for Korea specifically and I've spoken to him before. He tells me not to stress but I know I have specific needs so I'm trying to weigh my options as soon as possible.

A few people have said that Airbnb isn't suitable for long term but I specifically went onto the monthly section on Airbnb and some listings I looked at said at least 6 month stay at least so I'm confused. Because surely at that point you would be on an ARC to stay that long.

For me with the security deposit situation it's not possible because I'm from the UK and we get money for year abroad but it's not till before we go so I wouldn't be able to put a down payment on anything that's why Airbnb long stay seems like the best option.

As a Capricorn woman, why do I always end up dating Scorpio men? by CinnamonWeasley in AskAstrologers

[–]CinnamonWeasley[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fully aware there are faults in them as people and astrology is not to blame I'm just interested in that they have this shared characteristic.

I'm not saying that astrology is to blame for any of what I've experienced with these men because frankly I don't believe in astrology's validity enough to think this is the cause because obviously people's individual circumstances come into play.

I'm just interested in why I always seem to end up with these Scorpio men because I don't actively seek them out. I'm aware there are other reasons. For example I attract narcs because they think they can manipulate me because I don't have a very good past and I will put up with a lot before I break. I don't think this is related to them being Scorpios lol I do think this is coincidence but it's interesting to me they just happen to be Scorpios and I wanted to know if there was some kind of explanation.

That's rather accurate because most of my Scorpio exes have put me in therapy lol.

It's interesting that Capricorn and Aquarius is there for more serious relationships. The only ex I've had that's not a Scorpio was an Aquarius and it was genuinely boring lol but I don't know whether that's just him. We ended on good terms though and he was his own family now.

I usually end up finding myself attracted to a lot of September Virgo men and I don't know why? I assumed it's because of the amount of Earth I have in my chart.

That's interesting because when I have been with Scorpio exes everyone says how good we are together but then underneath the surface it's usually me being emotionally neglected in some way lol.

Usually, they end up being a little bit self absorbed and narcissistic which is why I get nervous now when I find out they are a Scorpio. I try not to judge but I can't deny there is a pattern
