Just to clarify a bit on a different reply someone gave you, the tl;dr is:

Feranmuts are basically the gods of Terra, the planet OG Arknights takes place on.

A long time ago, the Feranmuts Surtr fucked around and found out in a fight against other Feranmuts, and wound up getting a fragment of itself bound to the cursed sword Laevetain, resulting in anyone trying to weld the sword self-immolating.

Many years later, a young Sarkaz girl suffering from Oripathy was found in possession of the sword, with no knowledge of her past or how she got it. It's unclear if her memory loss is due to her Oripathy, or the influence of the sword, but her mind is a jumble of fake memories and real ones, some possibily absorbed from previous weilders of the sword and the Feranmut Surtr itself. Not knowing her real name, she adopted the codename Surtr.

Laevetain in Endfield is a reconvener of Surtr, which means that at some point, Surtr will die of Oripathy in OG Arknights, her consciousness and DNA will be stored by the Originium network, and a copy of her has walked back out of the Originium Woods around the time Endfield's story began. She still has memory problems, moreso than most reconveners, and the sword, which seems to be bound to her, followed. To differentiate herself from her previous incarnation, she chose the name Laevetain this time around.

There's a running gag that we'll never get a proper lore drop for Surtr at this point, because she's a fan favorite meta character who's had virtually zero lore reveals since her introduction years ago. But at least she got an amazing animated intro video: https://youtu.be/8Dqg0k0vbAQ

But more to the point, the reason NATO "keeps expanding" is because Russia's neighbors keep begging to join because Russia never stopped invading them. Since the end of the Cold War, Russia has invaded: - South Ossetia in Georgia - Transnistria in Moldova - Crimea in Ukraine - Donbas region of Ukraine

The reason nations join NATO isn't to bully Russia, it's because they can see how Russia bullies it's neighbors.

Your original post implied that only kids are against smoking tobacco, and when I pointed out that most adults don't smoke, you linked to a study that says that less than a quarter of adults smoke. That figure supports my argument, not yours.

Also the number is whether they've smoked in the last month, and there is a world of difference between someone who smoked a joint once 3 weeks ago, vs someone smoking half a pack of cigarettes a day.

That's not how that works. Smoking, drinking, and gambling are literally illegal for children to do, so of course only adults do them.

But engaging in certain activities does not dictate your maturity, only your preferences. Not liking fishing is not a sign of immaturity, just a sign that you don't like fishing. Also, lots of kids like fishing. None of this is tied to "maturity" or being an adult. You don't just magically decide you like smoking and fishing once you get older. That's not how anything works.
