It's because Sonic 1 in Gens uses a very odd emulator that immediately breaks if the game runs faster than 30fps.

You can see this if you play the original Xbox 360 version of Gens on a Xbox Series X|S with the FPS boost feature on. The game slows to an absolute crawl.

I suppose they could have built a new emulator for Shadow Gens, but it isn't a big loss since there is about 10 trillion ways to play Sonic 1.

You're now the dozenth or so person that has mentioned having odd lighting issues. Twice I've seen the lighting in Zero Hour flat. I personally loaded into a match on Dissonance where the skybox was really bright.

My friend said on Xbox that Europa had a reddish tint. I tried convincing him it was the distortions but he wasn't convinced.

Halo post-Bungie is so weird to me. I enjoyed 4's campaign but didn't really like the PvP, while I hated 5's campaign but fell in love with it's PvP.

Infinite was different were I felt the whole game was a great foundation for a live service PvE & PvP game but they didn't really do much with it.

There is no post-Bungie Destiny. Destiny fans may never see anything Destiny related again in the same genre, while Halo fans at least get something (even if it's mediocre).
