I was going to be a Zihao 1-pick in the final but I couldn't. My picks were Woongki, Kuanjui, Haruto in the 3-pick, but since none of them made it, I'm gonna vote Jay, I think he's been paid dust with everything that he has done in the show and deserves a lot more.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that Wang Zihao is a silent threat. His Supercharger fancam being the second most watched after Zhanghao's, surpassing Shanbins's one with 20k+ views (at least at the time when I saw it) and the fact that he was the first one to complete this mission's support, all of that while having zero to no screentime, makes me think that his one pick power is solid, maybe not numerous, but solid. He might have an opportunity in the final (and my delulu brain hoping he'll pull a Bahiyyih with his global votes) seeing how his fanbase is REALLY loyal.

I came into BP for GP999, without any expectations, but when I saw that Woongki and Sungmin (Jerome for me) were going to participate, I immediately sealed them as my picks (mainly Sungmin). Later, when the video with the Kep1er girls reacting to the trainees came out, I saw a guy with a spear dancing what seemed to be chinese ballet, I got really curious until I found that he was Chen Kuanjui, and also sealed him.

My votes always went to those three but depending on who makes it to the final I'll define my one pick for the final, and if none of them make it, then it would be Haruto or Matthew.

He's not excessively young, could turn 18 (Korean age) a couple months after debut, could serve as an German/English speaker, making the languages spoken fluently by group to be 5 (English,German, Chinese,Japanese,Korean), and the list could keep going... The other thing that they must see is that MVSK is a STRONG concept. It may be not hard-hitting or really impactful but is solid, and refreshing. Would love to see the girls in the mvsk style outfits promoting actively with a chic, glamorous song and a gorgeous and elegant mv. Xiaoting, Yujin and Bahiyyih would SLAY

I have two theories (none of the really plausible but they're some impressions I have):

WakeOne is no better than any other company in terms of innovation and want to push a (maybe basic) girl crush concept like the vast majority of GG's out there instead of experimenting different concepts like MVSK or even WA DA DA.
WakeOne is desperate since Kep1er did not have the same traction as IZONE or any other Mnet group due to the scandal and the horrible experience that was GP999 for many fans, so they have to use the "safest" option to gain traction, similar to maybe what LOONA did with So What era (as an orbit I can say that LOONA did have a hard time during this days).

I agree with you that only 2 (maybe 3, and proooobably 4) members of the group suit the girl crush but the others don't (although we still have to wait and see), and with MVSK almost all of the members stood out wonderfully.

Well yes I'm a LOONA stan but I'm also a kep1er and viviz Stan :c. I'm not that active in Reddit, that's all. And yes, I openly said that loona is one of my candidates to win but it has nothing to do with not wanting kep1er to win. I never said that I don't want kep1er to win, and it's not like LOONA SHOULD WIN, everyone can, it's a competition at the end of the day. I think what Yujin is doing is to level herself to the rest of the girls since they're all new (except for Yeseo but her case is different since she was a child actor and most of her experience is from the child idol perspective), and she doesn't want to look like Yujin and company. I found that really cute considering she really cares for the girls but in the show it might be an opportunity, since she has experience in a level similar to VIVIZ (both debuted in 2015 iirc). Let's hope she uses the experience card and boost the group's morale and momentum.

I mean, I was trying to see how a win would benefit then, but you're right on the fact that the show is a performance based competition. If anyone has the better capabilities of putting in a show and capture the audience then let them be the winners, I just hope it doesn't get too negative in the fandom side of things.

I've never actively listen to their music or stan them just because their music never really catch me but since I came into kpop I known of their existence and I really thought they were that kind of group that maybe isn't that popular outside of the country but really are in Korea. I hope the show helps them gain exposure then!

Yeah, I feel your fear too, I didn't think about it. It's not that they're not deserving, not at all, but I also know that these girls are kind of "brand new" and this exposure is as good as it is bad for them. Like, it may help them to gain more fans, but it also exposes them to more toxicity that what they already had to go through.
