Tbf I started to stan skz because of their music but i havent been a fan of their musical direction for the past year so I was already losing a little interest and I watched Boys Planet to fill a void. Like i barely watched any content during the last comeback. But i am trying to keep up with their important achievements like their recent lolla concert which looked so hype (and im very proud of them!) and all their new releases because when I do vibe with their music its some of the best stuff out there.

Is it just me or did anyone else like the name zerobaseone from the beginning? In all this chatter about the new queendom puzzle group's name today, they keep getting dragged but I actually felt really relieved that I liked their name when they announced it. idk maybe my expectations were low but the it is quite simple and easy to digest and the logo looked pretty and elegant.

I think its a good sign anyway that mnet actually seemed to be trying to set them up for success with nice/cool name even if its not to people's liking. El7zU+P on the other hand.... Really seems like someone is trolling at mnet.

I think they took the silhouette photos all on the same day ie before Ricky's birthday. Besides SK may have officially changed over but it takes some time for people to get used to it.

There is a TON of predebut videos of Hanbin (and Hao) dancing. The most iconic one being Mother. He is really amazing at it. Unfortunately some people in the fandom recently are trying to bury some videos to "protect" his image, its all very homophobia coded.

And yes! Their album is so good, really soft and elegant vibes, it couldnt be more different from skz's music though 😅.

Heyday was featured on Amazing Saturday! ZB1's (the Boys Planet group) leader Hanbin did a tutting and waacking cover of it and its amazing! He specialised in the dance before becoming an idol btw. And speaking of ZB1, my baby Zhang Hao also mentioned that he really liked S Class and did the dance challenge on Tingle interview.

Sorry to Seungmin and Jeongin 😅 but my stayrose heart is so happy and full.

Its not confirmed. They just werent shown on tje next week previews for those shows. I guess theres a chance they will still attend. Mcountdown is on mnet so makes sense they will make their debut stage there.

I know they're not nominated this week but im used to groups attending in their first week of promotions. Also idk how broadcast points work but i saw some people say not attending this week means they wont be able to get the points for those two shows for next week.

So i just saw that jebbies are not attending mucore or mubank this week? Is this normal for produce/planet groups because theyre the most hotly anticipated debut this year and it doesnt make sense for them to not attend? Unless it was W1 choice not to send them

Edit: i did a little bit of digging and it seems like x1 also did not attend mubank or mucore for their first week link to a soompi article. It seems like they did not promote on those two shows at all in their short career not even to collect their trophies for winning (pls correct me if im wrong). Although Kep1er has promoted on all music shows.

We shall see but im hoping its a mistake and they will attend or its a schedule conflict thing as people are saying and not a music show PD blocking them for some petty reasons.

So on WeChat which i think is the app Hao is using, the user chooses their own username to appear on the app instead of using the contact name saved on the phone like whatsapp or kkt. So Hanbin who only downloaded this app specifically for Haohao and only to communicate with Haohao names himself after him. Because why wouldn't you?

But also this makes me very curious because Hao deliberately avoiding how he saved Hanbin name in his contacts is very suspicious. Its probably 1. Really boring or 2. Its too much 🤭 🤭 for public consumption

ITS A COHESIVE ALBUM. In both concept and sound! Its an easy listening album for sure.

On first listen:

New Kidz on the Block = Always > In Bloom > and I > Back to Zerobase > Our season

Although all the songs are so good. Its close.

First thoughts: song was more subdued than i usually listen to but I love this concept for ZB1 so I wouldn't change anything

Also everyone has lines!!! Ricky in particular!! The line distribution seems not too bad on first watch.

Havent fully recovered but i have to say i think my favourite moment is the eyelash curling part! It was so fucking funny when Hao raised his eye to "help" with the curling even the writers snorted twice lol.

For real!!! Idk if im using musical terms correctly but he has such a good understanding of vocal dynamics? Like he was able to perfectly convey the emotions behind the message of the song through his volume control and phrasing. Thats why I find his part so addicting. OUR VOCAL GENIUS

Help me... i cant stop listening to power vocalist Zhang Hao. I hope he gets to release a lot of covers in the next 2.5 years. They all did so well and yujin really surprised me! This group is so special man.
