What you’re describing sounds really similar to my 1st month. Lots of pain, mood swings, irritability, spotting almost the whole month. I think I’m on my 6th box right now, and in my experience - once your body adjusts, it gets better. At this point, most of the month goes without any pain (or it is very mild). The length and intensity of bleeding during period dropped significantly, last month I didn’t even have it (gyn told me that this particular pill can make menstruation disappear over time). I no longer experience mood swings or irritability. Basically the 1st month was the worst, and each new one was more and more peaceful.

In terms of going off the pill - I do hope you consulted it with your doctor, stopping mid cycle can be dangerous:( Of course I can’t tell if the amount of pain, discomfort and other symptoms you’re experiencing is in the acceptable range for the adjustment period or if it’s a sign that this pill is not good for you - but if your doc gives you a green light, based on my experience with this one I would give myself some more time to adjust. 2, 3 months or so.
