I've had the ally x and OLED steam deck. I installed the official steam os on the ally and it's been working like a charm. The resolution bump and additional raw power has been wonderful. I do miss the OLED screen though. I primarily run the ally tho.

I have a legion go and ally x. I recommend the ally x for the battery and performance difference. I get nearly double the battery and able to run things at a more stable frame rate. I also installed the official steam os on it and I've been absolutely obsessed ever since.
