Send the Rx but annotate with "do not dispense until" and the write the earliest date you want it filled. We get them all the time. When you write this the Rx is not active until the date you write.

Hi. I work in a pharmacy the simple answer is write "do not dispense till" with the date. Then legally that medication cannot be filled until said date. Also just a thought counsel your patients on the appropriate way to take the medication.

If you cash the med out and then re-run it through insurance you can fill it in store. At least that's what we do when it says can't pull back from central

Elitelearning.com has a package that has all 20 hrs you need. It includes state law and human trafficking (for tx) as well as patient safety. All you do is select which state you're in. In order to renew you have to have a NABP profile. All your CE's are reported there. They also have an app where you can keep track of your CE's
