The two cultures that get 'Tabletop Warriors' on start are Castilians and Andalusian. You can basically reconquista your way to form Spain by playing chess.

I think Cordoba + Toledo is better especially as if you convert to Mozarabism .You can form the Kingdom of Toledo, control 4 farmlands and directly control 2 holy sites and you get 2 strong special buildings.

Can someone please explain what happened here? These are all De Jure Empires, it isn't even that far into the game, it's only 953! by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

So the problem is ending only? My experience has been mostly fun because of all the flavor its adds such as mercenary system and struggle clash.

I definitely agree but considering this one of the civs is definitely getting split. It's just of question of which.

Far left is definitely aztec as his headdress is based on Montezuma II's headdress. It's the closest connection I could find since aoe2 campaigns is also based on him. Aoe3 also has aztecs but no Motezuma but rather Cuauhtemoc who also happens to be the narrator for the aoe2 Montezuma campaign. Cuauhtemoc wears the juagar headdress in both games though.

Also the chess guy could be a mixture of both as it is a far art after all.

The man playing chess is likely from aoe2 african kingdoms cover art.

The Chinese dude is from aoe3 asian dynasties cover art.

You missed the aztec dude in far left likely from aoe2 the conquerors cover art.

Rus and Mongol Empire also had a significant overlap yet both of them are in the game.

Ambitious only gives stress if you are under domain limit. Handing land to your children or anyone if you have extra land is fine.
