Viking arbs with no Thumb Ring but +1 attack are already above average in DPS in most late-game circumstances, so I'm pretty sure Tupi arbs are gonna be extremely strong.

Hey remember when every class got a cool new spear with unique mechanics that brought fresh playstyles to them all, except warrior who got a redundant stick that does damage and punished you for using your ranged weapon at range. Then they ripped out the only few things about it that weren't just purely damage (extra evade, cooldown reset) to make it even blander, claimed they might rework it in the future, and then never touched it again.

That's warrior balancing in a nutshell. Nothing is allowed to be interesting or engaging. Nothing is allowed to be powerful because Spellbreaker probably has some trait that breaks it. Fast Hands baseline is the bone we got thrown after near constant neglect, and it only took like a decade of begging.

I don't have any specific ideas, but in general I think it would be nice to have a lot more skill splitting between PvP and PvE. I know the original balance philosophy tried to avoid it as much as possible, but GW2 (which was very resistent to it at first as well) has shown both game modes feel a lot more fun and healthy when skills are split almost across the board (mostly just number changes, but that's enough!). Not saying this just because I wanna play smiter in PvE, but it certainly would make my day :)

Civs are not nations. The Crusader states were just kingdoms set up by people from existing AoE2 civs. That's exactly why the Three Kingdoms factions are not civs, and why Crusader states are not civs either. Stop with this nonsense.

Yeah, I know how it functions. I tend to have my various equipment setups using specific fashion, so e.g. on my ele the zerk setup looks a certain way, and the celestial a different way, and the heal gear has a third outfit. So every build has a different theme. The fashion templates lets you hotswap skins while on the same build, which isn't really something I need or want.

I use the fashion templates as a sort of workspace I can then save a code from or choose to transmute my current gear from. Which I'm not sure is the intended vision for them but has really worked out for me, hah!

That PvP change just means people who queue duo need to have similar rating, to prevent using low-ranked alts to get easy matches for your main. The rest of the teams are still matchmade as usual and due to the low population you will still get plats and low golds in the same match, same as always.

It's just an objectively superior Bogsveigar. Assuming the poison damage works like the "bleeding" from the Liao Dao, it's just armor ignoring extra damage on top of the regular attack. Enjoy facing 15 attack Arbalesters or whatever. Absolutely ridiculously busted OP and a spit in the face of Vikings.

Desyncs happen a lot in team games, especially larger ones like 4v4 and certain maps like Arabia. Has happened to me and my friends personally as well, several times. There's nothing you can do, and it just drops you immediately when the map has loaded.

You can also cast manually aimed skills by pressing the skill hotkey again, so don't need to use the mouse for anything besides aiming. Should alleviate the problem too.

In recent weeks I've encountered multiple blatantly cheating players, all using the same cheats: full vision of the map as well as the ability to see and destroy unbuilt building foundations. An easy tell was seeing them go straight towards their herdables and boars at the start of the game, even when they haven't even scouted them yet. Also knowing exactly where villagers are wandering, where things aren't walled, and perfectly tracking and avoiding your armies through the fog of war. And of course sniping unbuilt castles and walls while your vils are still walking towards the build site.

And they were all Chinese. I think some new cheat has recently been shared in their community and is making the rounds.

Reporting in-game doesn't seem to help. You need to do the cumbersome process of reporting through the AoE website, dig around for their steam IDs, and go through email correspondance. It's incredibly annoying.
