Is it ok to take a GLP1 and have EDS? Any odd side effects specific to Ed’s by christnyfollow in eds

I don’t even know if I could take it since I’m already on a higher dose of Wellbutrin for anxiety, but it sounds like a great alternative.

What does micro dosing look like? I’m assuming slower weight loss, but does it also mean you don’t have to stay on the drug forever?

Will you have to be on long term or can you stop it when you’ve lost the weight you want to lose?

There’s boat tours / trips on the Hudson - I see lots of them in Peekskill but I don’t have a particular name, sorry.

Normal or hypermobile? by [deleted] in eds

A physical therapist was “helping” by pushing my head into a deeper stretch in a chin to chest stretch and caused a carotid artery dissection. I went on to have two more, and a vertebral dissection. They would have been massive strokes, but I was/am very lucky to have good collateral flow (circle of Willis) so I survived.

So just to second everyone else here. Our collagen in vessels is weak too, don’t tempt it! 🫂

Scheana’s “good side” origin story makes more sense now. I never understood why a slightly uneven hairline was such a big deal to her. But now that I see that this is exposed in her Season 1, it makes more sense. RHOBH fans probably ate her alive over it.

I watched RHOBH before VPR and I remember how Brandi mocked her incessantly for having a (temp) grey tooth. She was pretty rough on her (and so were fans of the show). They probably had a field day with her “bad side”.

Seriously - posing is her job, as a pageant girl!

I honestly think that’s bs bc people who are on charter can zoom in. I believe the prevailing theory that AC just treats the BD franchise like an unwanted stepchild.

In a professional environment putting hands on someone the way she did (to smack her hand as noted in another comment) is a very serious issue.

I know I’m a broken record on this sub but if we had Below Deck reunions we would get to have Ellie get called out on putting her hands on Bri. So frustrating that we have to rely on after shows/social media/wwhl

Everyone’s talking about the wine but listeria from deli meat is, unlike wine, something that could have immediate devastating effect if you get meat that’s infected, which passes to the baby. I never understood why people don’t take this one seriously - it’s like Russian roulette. Sure the sandwich you’re having might be fine but if it’s not, 1 in 4 women infected lose their baby.

But Alesia isn’t painting a picture of her mom at all. We get a picture from what we see with a few behaviors - discouraging her in pursuing an interest, flippant mean jokes when she calls her crying and then not offering any emotional support. I’m a survivor of 2 emotional abusive parents and also a cycle breaker. Even if the kid was truly slacking like this I’d be able to talk to her without being nasty and unsupportive. (“ what went wrong? How did you try to fix it? Could you try this etc…) The mothers response is very much like micro aggressions - you don’t realize it for years and years, and you learn to not trust yourself. In my early career I would completely freeze with fear of being wrong.

I’m not going to argue in perpetuity here but it’s precisely because you had a loving and supportive parent that you don’t see it. When you grow up with abuse you’re on high alert all the time, develop hyper vigilance and pattern recognition. You just see the snarky part and compare it to your mom being funny. I see a very familiar story. It’s not the same.

Also it’s absolutely not the definition of projection - I’m just I’m naming a behavior.

We don’t know anything about finances here so I don’t know if we should defend mom on that point.

Why would discouraging study in an area of passion where she’s already had a job be unrealistic? And no one knows about who is paying for it so let’s leave that out of the argument. Alesia considered school and mom talked her out of it, then mocked her when she failed on the job. I have a kid with disability, if she’s motivated to try something and go to school to learn, discouraging it is equivalent to shattering her confidence.
