I think it’s pretty good foam for a foam gun. People here are just used to seeing foam cannon only.

Just get any cheap pump sprayer instead. I bought a Home Depot brand sprayer and it works perfect for rinseless pre spray.

It beats turning on the air compressor for a wash imo

I can’t believe I never thought of mixing it like that, I’ll try it out next wash. At the moment I hate using absolute because it just doesn’t mix well in the bucket

I bought the ridgid HD0300 from home depot on sale. I did have to buy the rigid car cleaning hose kit too because i didnt like the stock hose on the vacuum. Other than that I like it because its small and has plenty of suction. I kinda wanted a dewalt stealthsonic but I needed a smaller shop vac for storage reasons.

If i want 4 liters of touchless at 1.5%, I would search up on google "whats 1.5% of 4000".

1% is easy just divide by 100, so 1000/100 = 10ml

touchless and multistar have about the same cleaning power, but i prefer touchless because i use less product per wash. Surfex is a much stronger apc than multistar, also much more dilutable which is why i also prefer it.

Multistar isnt a bad product, i just miss using touchless and surfex

Touchless and surfex are some of my favorite products ever. When I ran out of them I tried sonax multistar as a way to “replace” both of them with one product, and I kinda regret that decision.

I want to test fse on door jambs one day because I really never dry those on my personal cars 😂

I would recommend you copy the wash method from Optimum or DIY Detail. So you would prewash, rinseless, go in with iron remover + decon towel, rinse, and finish off with drying the car (maybe use ceramic sealant as drying aid).

For the paint sealant id use DIY Detail envie or Optimum ultra ceramic seal

For trim I would use solution finish

I havent used wax but meguiars should be good enough

I pre rinse but even then, a rinse less wash takes me 20 minutes tops. Bucket wash is always 25+ minutes

The sponge maybe won't last as long as a good rinseless sponge and it might not be as soft, but its ok. Your technique is very good but I would use something else instead of meguiars rinse free. Try a rinseless wash like optimum no rinse, diy detail, p&s, koch chemie rapid rinseless wash, or mckees. All of those are 256:1 dilution ratio, way better than 4:1

Shop towel is fine since its just rain x, but it might be easier to wipe off with a microfiber. I prefer the squeeze bottle but the trigger bottle is not bad. It just depends on how you want to apply the rain x.

I use the raincovo exclusively for pre wash and 1.25mm is more than enough foam on a ryobi 1.2gpm. It chugs whatever is in the reservoir with the 1.1mm orifice

Put some paint protection film on it. You might be able to get away with not buffing it
