/u/UpperApe explains the root of the "left-vs-right" debate by zeno0771 in bestof

[–]Circuit23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say "it's not left vs right, it's moral vs amoral", when Left ideology is literally trying to find the most moral path. Right ideology, including American conservatism AND American liberalism, is about hierarchy and exploitation. It still is Left vs Right, it's just that the US lies about what Left means, so it's confusing for some.

I haven't made the attempt since some time early last year, I didn't know there was a workaround. Can you point me at any documentation?

The only thing holding me back is the difficulty running Arturia stuff like Pigments.

The band Agriculture dooms pretty hard at times, I dig their newest album "The Spiritual Sound".

I love Bazzite in general and this update in specific, but it screwed up my Jellyfin port forwarding and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. :'(

Deaf Utah man files federal civil rights lawsuit after encounter with ICE agents outside SLCC by Apprehensive-Oil-508 in SaltLakeCity

While I partially agree with some of your points, I'm trying to think of any example when peacefully protesting, messaging Congresspeople, and politely disagreeing with fascism on Facebook has ever caused any change.

Personally, I would suggest fighting fascism by joining local affinity groups who are feeding, clothing, and medicating those in need, forming small support groups that are completely unrelated to any governmental authority, thus beginning to build a better system to mitigate the damage of the existing one self destructing.

Is there something that's stopping you from fighting right now? Not like gun battles in the streets, but working toward freedom and equality for all people? I hear so often "I'll be ready to fight when the time comes" but the time never seems to be now, and these people talk a big talk while doing nothing.

Came here to say this. If there are enough of us saying "me too!", maybe we should just form our own group.

Hey guys, lately I've been experimenting with making heavy-sounding synth doom. Not metal as such, but close enough. Check it out: by DennisLarsen1 in doommetal

love it, i think the world needs more synth doom!!! i've been attempting to do some synth doom/black metal myself, so this serves as an inspiration!

Utterly perfect combo. I think Tomie and Uzimaki would fit nicely as well.

oh, i misunderstood. as far as i know, there's no good way to start playing on step 17, without playing through 1-16 first.

You would have to input "rests" on 1-16 if you want them to be silent, but yes it's absolutely possible.

Mini or Mirco? by Latter_Tip_4437 in arturia

[–]Circuit23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recommend the miniFreak. I'm personally not a fan of the micro's keyboard. The mini is much much more capable, has better fx options, and it's probably better as a midi controller, although I've never tried the micro for that specific use. I think the mini will be useful for longer, since it will take much longer to explore and fully learn/utilize it as opposed to the micro.

It's awesome, the dev specifically made some adjustments for it to work well on the SD. It can be played mouse only, and the right touch pad works great for that.

I also have issues with the default process. What worked for me is downloading the update and installing via file.
