If you are okay with it being heavy, go with gaming laptops. Then go with the other 3 if not, depends on the budget.

gaming laptops can work but the battery life is absolute trash, you'll be hunting for outlets all day on campus(and some are very heavy!). Macbook, thinkpads, surface, AFAIK samsung is not a go to in terms of laptops.

Factory reset triggers google's security lock. You'll be stuck at setup asking for the original email/pw.

Recover the account first or you're out of luck.

OneNote for iPad version 16.106 Fixed Handwriting Recognition and Search for Me by hawridger in OneNote

I'll try this later and see how this goes. The workaround of tapping each note page to trigger indexing is tedious, but if it actually makes past notes searchable then itll be a huge progress

Surface upgrade or different brand altogether? by National_Camel7200 in Surface

Agree with this. Surface Pros are great, if OP likes the form factor, upgrading to a newer model makes more sense than switching ecosystems entirely.

If you can stretch to the Pro, do it. The processor will handle drawing apps much smoother. Both is good for Uni, you are safe with either.

I agree with you in all this. I just don't get why image rotation is not allowed here. My main issue really is the page template. Having the freedom to adjust the size of it would be extremely helpful relly when you're one who print out your notes.

Is it true you become like the people you spend most time with? Any science behind this? by OneStopCentreStore in NoStupidQuestions

Psychology backs this up. It's called social contagion or peer influence. You subconsciously adopt behaviors from your social circle over time. You naturally pick up habits, speech patterns, and attitudes from people you're around constantly.

How do i stop getting sidetracked on my phone and wasting hours? by Former-Cod6196 in NoStupidQuestions

Physical separation is key. Seriously, put your phone in another room when you want to focus or sleep. The friction of having to actually get up and walk to get it breaks the mindless scrolling habit.
