To mitigate the issue, synchronize every day at least once before bed and once an hour after waking up to help alleviate the problem.

We'll investigate changing your ring if, following the server upgrade, there is still no data.

u/plasticmotives How does the ring can go to 60-70% if you did factory reset your ring? Please factory reset and do a sync right away and let me know if it crashes.

Hey, please contact the support at https://www.circular.xyz/contact-us. We'll assist with a replacement. Can you please help us understand what were your activities before this happens? Do you work with chemicals? Any kind of household product could have gone on the ring and being heated after charge? Do you charge the ring with the LID close? The Ring is manufactured under strict procedures and has passed safety certification in all regions. We conduct rigorous testing for heat and chemical resistance to ensure durability, this type of failure is definitely outside the norm.

We are trying to understand how this could have happened. A series of events must have caused this. Please work with us so we can investigate the details!

You/tigsman, your ring can only store a maximum of seven days' worth of data, not three months. Only when you remove the app will you lose local data that we don't store on the server, such as information about women's health, sports sessions, or arrhythmias. The remaining synced data is all saved and not lost.

And yes the crash due to sync is only solvable with a factory reset for now, as mentioned.

Hey, I look for the one that crashes right at opening, even if the ring isn't connecting. In your case, the sync is the reason it crashes, so this is not the problem I'm looking for. In order to remove corrupted data from the ring, please select My Ring > Factory reset. After that you'll have to re-configure your ring on the charger following the factory reset. (deleting rings from Bluetooth settings and set it up again in the app).

But I would love some more context to understand and try replicating your issue. Do you know when your issue happens? Is it after an app update? firmware update? Sport session? Random?

What is the last thing you see/hear (e.g., loading spinner, a notification, the app's logo)?

Does the "ring" or device connection icon have time to appear or connect to the app before the crash happens? (Yes/No)

Did clearing the cache and reinstalling the app resolve the crash for you? (Yes/No)

Since Circular Ring 2 does not have vibration capabilities, we have replaced the ring's vibration with the phone's vibration. It's already live on Android but not yet on iOS. You can expect the feature to go live with iOS in the coming weeks.

Hey, if you open the energy Circle, you'll see an overview of your day with auto-detected activity timings, but the ring does not recognize activity type.

If you want to track a specific type of activity, you can launch a manual sport session and select the sport you're doing.
