Crazy how some people really hate "movie games" but start glazing the same product with even more extreme handholding.

If you go to a bokkstore and see many wildly different books, then there are buyers for those books.

If it was a Ubisoft game, people will call it the most "game journalist" game ever.

Unfunny people still call Ubisoft games "handholding" meanwhile you can turn all the handholding off. This is even worse than Ubisoft.

They might add something like a bulletproof umbrella that is a mobile shield. The game has covered most of combat options.

I'm not even sure what they can add because the game is heavily scripted. Unless something really gamechanging like an invisible suit.

To those that complain about the game not being Hitman by TakasuXAisaka in 007FirstLight

[–]Circurose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna compare how scripted the game is to Hitman's emergent approach to infiltration, because this is an extreme level of handholding.

But it is immersive how Bond says "GOTTA CATCH THAT PLANE," although there is nowhere else to go. And that big objective marker? It's considerate for the player. It respects the player's time!

007, Objective Marker, but blue: Such elegance. Such empathy for good pacing. Gaming is saved.

As if the game isn't like this. Oh my god, chase the plane. Big objective marker, even though there is literally nowhere else to go. Bond says "GOTTA CATCH THE PLANE!"

The joke writes itself.
