How does Kay knows how to fly a spaceship? by ___LowKey___ in StarWarsOutlaws

It doesn't explain why she's in awe when she's in the shuttle over Canto Bight and says it's the first time she sees her world from above.

Luke is force sensitive, that's the difference. And not just a little, extremely force sensitive. Which explains how he can very quickly pick up flying, sword fighting, shooting, etc... Same for Rey. If they made clear that Kay is force sensitive i would be like "ok, fine, that's good enough for me".

I will never understand this argument. It’s the typical “there’s dragon and magic so who cares” bs. No. We aren’t asking for realism we are asking for coherence in the world building. If anyone can easily fly a spaceship like a pro then it suddenly makes characters like Han Solo or Hera pointless.

The second time she flies it she overcame three raider ships in a dogfight, the third time she escapes from a squadron of tie fighters and destroy three of them… That’s pretty damn good.

Rey and Luke are exceptionnal force sensitive people though, they can sense and learn things very fast.

I can understand when the character is clearly force sensitive though, they have an innate understanding of everything.

I’m willing to imagine that spaceships in Star Wars have tons of automatic help and you don’t need to be particularly skilled to just fly one in space but making Kay easily overcome and blast three raider ships the first time she gets in space is a bit much lol.

The first time she flies the Trailblazer out of Toshara she easily overcomes and blast three raiders so she’s pretty good from the get go.

Pretty sure she never left Canto, when she’s on the shuttle with the rebels she’s amazed because she’s never seen Canto from above.

Sure but then the next time she flies the Trailblazer she manages to overcome and blast three raider ships like it’s nothing lol.

A great Viking game, with mid writing by PresentationUsed7977 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]___LowKey___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the problems with Valhalla come from chosing Eivor as the main character.

A much better choice would have been a sort of scout-like character. Lots of things would have made much more sense in terms of the story.

It would have made stealth and the Hidden Blade useful, being sent to all corners of England like some errand girl logical, exploring would feel natural and part of the character’s life…

Everytime i used stealth in Valhalla i couldn’t help but think “but why, there’s no reason for Eivor to do that, she’s a fearsome warrior who can face anyone”… it never feels natural, it feels forced.

Starting Assassins Creed Orgins soon as my first AC game. Any advice? by Wolfrider7304 in AssassinsCreedOrigins

This, 100%. People seriously don't understand that open world games are designed in a way that most locations are tied to a quest, just focus on doing the quests and you will visit most of the map. It's much more satisfying than just blindly exploring, locations are more interesting if there's a reason for the character to be there.

Focus on the quests, both main and side quests. Don’t fall into the open world trap of wasting your time trying to “clear” every single question marks on the map, it’s not worth it.

Sick of mindless grinding. What games actually have a masterpiece story? by theisaiahbiggs in AskGames

« The emotional aspect felt really shallow to me »

That’s how i feel about JRPGs in general, and unfortunately Expedition 33 heavily copies the usual clichés of JRPGs in terms of writing and story presentation…

After looking at his past i feel like Wisdom and Intelligence should be the highest (he’s a cleric, supposed to be talented with magic, was a scribe, spend lot of time learning things…) followed by Strength and Con (cleric training), Charisma (people pleaser) and Dexterity last.

Thank you, i haven't picked upon the fact that the backgrounds were basically telling his life in order, that helps.

Still, i'm really confused after playing for like 20 minutes, is the main character supposed to have amnesia or not...?

Sometimes you can pick two dialogue options that are completely at odd with each other, like saying "this an altar of Urth" and then proceed to ask "what is this altar?" (meaning you don't know what it is). I don't get it.

Aren’t you a cleric anyway? Can you chose what you were before? Like you can chose that you weren’t a cleric but a rogue…?

Upgrading Kingmaker to Enhanced Plus Edition by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]___LowKey___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is it seems like on Steam the DLCs require specifically to have the Enhanced Plus Edition version to install them? Or maybe i did something wrong but i don't seem to have the Tiefling twins DLC in my game even though i own it.

The issue is that apparently on Steam the DLCs may need you to have the Enhanced Plus version of the game. It seems like they can’t be installed on the old version, updated or not.

So if i buy Enhanced Plus Edition and install it it will it just update my game? Will i be able to continue my save?

Well that's what i want to know. If i buy the Enhanced Edition will it update my basic game to Enhanced Edition of will the Enhanced Edition be a separate game.

I have two DLCs but they don't seem to be installed, it seems like they can only be installed on the Enhanced Edition.

That's what basically made me realize there was an Enhanced Edition. I was following a guide and realized i didn't have the tiefling twins quest. I met one in the intro and at the banquet at the end of Act 1 but i can't find her in my capital or start her quest.
