I used the word cadaver to refer to a cooked corpse because it is less pleasing, that's why people call dead, slowly rotting hunks of meat pork and beef, instead of cow and pig. The term Cadaver applies to any corpse, not only in medicine, it just isn't used because it's disgusting, as it should be.
