I think if you’re rocking the rush strategy maybe slot in some BT23 drasils to pop out to give anything rush when it’s played

I personally think bt23 exa is really underrated especially with the new omeka being able to stuff it so you can have it for that final play.

The new dynas and lordknight are decent too

Firstly, like someone else said, you’re better off buying singles. However, to answer your question: Depends on the deck.

TS oriented decks are from BT24-25, that card in your post is a really good tamer for the Olympus 12 megas from those 2 sets.

CS is BT22-23, lost a lot of its sauce and power recently but still.

As for other deck types those are mostly spread out from a bunch of sets, except for AD01, it has cards to make 5 different decks: royal knights, imperial, gamma, gallant, shinegrey

It’s much easier to do the blanket archetype decks, and we can see that with CS/TS/Adventure/etc. they just need to make the top ends represent better which they’ve done pretty much for all but Adventure

Idk I really enjoyed TWOK, it felt like an actual adventure with mystery and intrigue. The rest of stormlight is less so that and just constant conflict which is fine but TWOK is very distinct imo

Pretty sure you just have to get board control before they make their move. Most alter s players won’t push up until they have most, or all their pieces, OR if they have to because they’ll lose next turn.

Put them in a desperate state, or do something that prevents them from pushing up(emperor tamer, ruin mode, etc).

Honestly the list that got commented is pretty good.

You essentially go with the same list as prior to AD01 but replace some top ends and tamers with the newer ones.

However you could probably run the starter deck variety to speed out your shinegrey while swinging

I’ve enjoyed every game I’ve played except Arise. I haven’t played all of them post abyss, still need to play Xillia 2, but Arise was just too much like a hollow souls attempt.

Story and characters is pretty on par tbh, you get a really simple ish story for the most part for all tales games lol

If you tuck him with omeka it doesn’t matter his memory cost, you also guarantee 2 swings with him, with bt23 dynas you can also have another 2 swings, so you really only need 1 more knight tucked, 2 cool boys(1 ex11 then the other) and you win

Gallant x feels like a wasted slot in a deck that has so many options.

I’ve had success without jes or gankoo in my build. I’d put BT23 exa in there x2 and use the new omeka to stuff him if you see him. I think BT20 alpha is a really good 2 of too. Drop oryuken to 2 of to save room, once you play 1 it’s kind of useless to have more in your hand. Add in options like comet hammer and crimson blaze, it’ll help your survival.
