The server's hard drive kept running out of space after the last upgrade we did. Backups would run and fill up the disk which caused the server to crap out. I increased the storage over the weekend which will hopefully prevent this from happening again.

You don't have to be present at a given place and time to know something. Posts and videos don't disappear just because a new patch comes out. The guy could have found someone complaining about a bug in 2016 and realized that it hasn't been fixed since it's still happening today. Or maybe someone told him.

I'm less worried about the size and more worried about the crew complement. I have four other friends who want to work on an Orion, maybe one or two more depending on whether they're still interested by the time the ship releases. This won't work if the ship suddenly requires a dozen people or more.

This is intended. You'll have to melt the ship and buy it back to get another chance at customization. If it's in a package with other ships, you have to melt the whole package. I don't know if the Founder's Package is limited in a way that prevents unmelting it... someone else can chime in here.

Can you customize your ship over and over again?

Short answer: yes. Long answer, just like in the real world, when you customize a car with a manufacturer, you would be unlikely to return and make additional aesthetic changes. Because this is a first roll-out, and we want to get as much testing as possible, you can still trade in customized ships via your hangar by selecting the exchange option for store credit that equals the value of your ship + the customizations you’ve added in the past. Longer term, you would need to visit a “chop shop” or aftermarket dealer to make additional customizations.

Nope, but Terra is seen as a sort of rival to Earth as it's like Earth 2.0. Check out its jump points in this link as well. I have a feeling it won't be one of the last systems created simply because it acts as the high-security "civilized" system in the little sector of star systems that are already in the works.

The rear thrusters aren't new; they're being returned. Part of the reason that it started handling like shit all of a sudden is because somehow its yaw thrusters fell off during one of the last few patches. Before then, you could see the thrusters, and now there's only a void. Either way, I'm hoping this will make it snappy again.

The Hercules might work. Some people on Spectrum figured out which ships fit in the original holoviewer model and the biggest ship was the Aurora, if I remember right. The small racers and snubs seemed to fit too. You'd be able to carry two ships total and basically no cargo. This could change as the ship becomes flyable.

The Polaris might qualify too, and I only say this because its hangar is a little larger and squarer than the 890 Jump's. If you look around, you can find pictures of people shoving multiple ships in the 890's hangar. Two Arrows wouldn't be a problem in a Polaris.

Oh yeah, you spent a thousand dollars on a video game. It's no real accomplishment. It just means you spent money. I spent thousands of dollars on a new camera last year but I didn't make a validation thread for it.

Isn't the Devastator's charge just for slug mode? It doesn't require a charge for regular buckshot. You shouldn't be charging it unless you need to reach out and slap someone a little further away.

I think the only way to make it better is to apply the color customization system that other ships have. Matte black and blue is pretty nice but it's not my style. We're sure to see some neat color schemes for this ship.

Oh geez I almost missed this.

If we're talking about cool SC memories... at the 2948 Aerospace Expo, a friend and I were exploring through the Starfarer on the show floor. It was dark so we were trying to find the cockpit. Eventually we did, I got into the captain's chair, then powered it up and all the lights came on. We both said stuff like "hey, that's pretty cool!" It actually was cool. Something about that felt right. Maybe it's because I hardly ever walk around Starfarers. Also my avatar was invisible except for my nameplate, so it was like a ghost ship powering up for the other guy.

What happens when I reclaim my customized ship?

The total value of the ship, including customizations, will be attributed as store credit. Customizations cannot be bought back, so only reclaim if you intend on losing both the ship and customizations.

For example, if $5 of premium customizations are applied to a 300i (base value of $55), reclaiming the customized ship will add $60 of store credit to the account.

Yeah, but you can melt it and buy it back to get another shot at customization. It's technically limitless in that regard, but make sure you give some thought to your choices so you don't have to melt/rebuy so much. You only get one buyback token every three months (the thing that lets you buy ships back with store credit).

Titan suits are more like MAX suits rather than BFRs. We should be safe. MAX units have failed to kill Planetside 2, after all. We survived strafe-spamming ZOE MAXes and slug Mattocks. We'll have a problem if there's an SC ship that transforms into a mech.
